deactivation announcement (+new blog)

not right now!! there’s still about week till i deactivate or knowing me i'll prob back out entirely

after much thought, peachy-yoonoh turned peachyyjaes turned lovehyuckk is going to be deactivated. I’ve listed why, and my thoughts aren’t currently straight, so please try to understand what i’ve written below <3

my blog doesn’t feel like home anymore. it doesn’t feel like anything. nothing is the way it was when i joined. call me dramatic, considering the fact that its been around nine months since i got on tumblr, but a lot has changed. i went on a long hiatus twice, lost followers and mutuals, some of my closest mutuals deactivated, and my work doesn’t feel like my own anymore.

since march i have felt like i have been detached from writing, and though the affection is building up again it feels less and less like my own, and more of an obligation to keep my blog active. there are a lot of factors, such as school and my personal life but the main reason is the lack of willpower.

this blog has been associated with so much change, and so much resentment, i’ve come to dislike it. i dislike my post, my work, my layouts, everything. i dislike sunny, who does nothing but annoy people and spread hopeful positivity when she herself cannot open her blog with a smile on her face. whether its peachy-yoonoh, peachyyjaes or lovehyuckk, this is not me.

the concerns that can come with my deactivation are listed below, if you have anything else to say my inbox is open for a week after this post.

my work | my work will be on @lovehyuckk-archive . some of it will also be on my new blog.

my mutuals | i will still follow and interact, because i love you guys a lot and i dont think I can’t not interact with you fluffies.

my taglist | i will be deleting my taglist. since i’m starting my work a fresh , i will also be having a fresh taglist.

my collabs | collabs will continue! collab posts will be reposted onto my new blog, discords will remain.

my requests and wips | will be forwarded onto the new blog! series as well

interactions | now that i’m accustomed to how this app works, my (new) main blog will be my most active blog, and i’ll be making lovesiyeon a sideblog cause thats too good of a username whoops

and now for another factor, which i will get much hate for.

i have 507 followers as i am writing this paragraph right now. remaking the blog will mean that i will lose atleast 450 of those followers, which will be a big hit. i have a huge fear of being forgotten, and remaking my blog will do just that. all of my mutuals are crossing milestones faster than i am. i’m jealous, i know, but to fix that problem its best for me to start from scratch. we all will leave tumblr at some point, and we’re going to be forgotten anyway, so making this decision is okay with me. though i am happy for my mutuals, i still feel insecure and scared, so this is the best way for me to learn.

thank you to everyone who has supported this blog, to everyone who has reblogged my work, to everyone who has played a role in making lovehyuckk as successful as it is. my 507 followers, i love you.

NCT-WRITERS PRESENTS: ANI-MAY! (Event announced earlier for participants to have enough time to write)

DO YOU LOVE NCT? DO YOU LOVE ANIME? PUT THEM BOTH TOGETHER THIS MAY ON NCT-WRITER’S ‘ANI-MAY’ This May, we challenge our dear members to write a piece based on some of the hottest animes!

The piece could focus on the member only, or be a member x reader as long as the main character/s includes an nct member.

The piece can include more than one nct member as long as it has an obvious main character (eg. Main character: Jaehyun x Reader, Side Characters: Taeyong, Doyoung, Haechan)

The piece does not have to be 99.9% similar to the anime. It could be similar, be inspired of the whole plot line, or be inspired by your favorite episode of your chosen anime.

Below is the list of animes submitted in ANI-MAY’s previous survey form:

Ouran High School Host Club, My Hero Academia, Tokyo Ghoul, Assassination Classroom, Kaichou wa Maid Sama

No nct member + anime shall be repeated (ie. user a applied for Renjun + Ouran High School Host club, that combination shall only be theirs. Other users may still write for Renjun but under a different anime, Renjun + Tokyo Ghoul for example).

A writer may write for as many members as they want as long as they are sure they’ll be able to handle writing for the spots they applied for.

This event is member exclusive. If you are not yet a member, April applications will open soon! Keep an eye!

Applicants must post on the days scheduled for their spots as shown below.

Is there a stigma when it comes to anime in Korean culture? I feel like in America it’s been destigmatize recently and I’ve only seen a few idols mentioned liking one piece or watching your name but I feel like there could be more idols who are watching anime. Specially right now since attack on titan is so big and jojo part 6 is starting. I was just curious about your POV

personally i wouldn’t say there is! when i was growing up in korea it was normal for people to watch anime (most often dubbed). they were even on tv channels, although not mainstream, and they are a big part of our pop culture i would say! although koreans may not watch the same animes as people in america do, a lot do keep up with lots of animes, almost everyone knows about the ghibli studio movies, and even older generations (gen x?) have at least a bit contact with those kind of media through manga. and i definitely do agree, i bet there are plently of idols who like anime!! thank u for this fantastic question :]

It seemed pathetic, your reply, beside his poetic words, but the word’s weight didn’t impact you until weeks after. Even now, the phrase wove through your mind like a silver thread.

It could be interpreted in so many ways- was it a confession? The frustration that came with your reply haunted you; you had the perfect opportunity to ask what he meant and now it was gone. the yellow taxi finally jolts to a stop at your request. it’s almost 9 p.m., and after hours of travel you’re finally at a nowhere town, no service, and no nothing一but freedom.

“would this be enough? it’s all i’ve got,” you hand the driver the stack of money you’d been twiddling with during the ride. the sound of raindrops hitting the window fills the silence as the driver counts the money. when he finally nods, you open the door and step outside.

countless forced dates, relationships, and finally a marriage, all for money, all for the conglomerates, all for your parents who used you as a tool for the past 20 years. this isn’t what you wanted, this is what you never wanted, you thought, staring into the mirror as the makeup artist made some final touches. the building was lively with people gathered for your own wedding, and yet you felt lifeless, like a string puppet. so instead of getting to the aisle for the walk of the lifetime every little girl has dreamed of, you kicked off your white heels, took your emergency money, and grabbed a taxi. you had to go far away to the farthest you could go.

and now you’re soaked in the cold february rain in your wedding dress, barefooted, with nowhere to go. it’s valentine’s day, too. you feel miserable and there are tears falling down your eyes for sure, but start walking towards light anyway, regretting choosing a huge dress. the only place open is what seems to be a cafe and an inn merged together, with a heavy, creaky wooden door that you push open slowly after attempting to shake the water off your dress.

a bell rings as you step inside. the place is filled with coziness, and thankfully you aren’t dripping everywhere. as you look around at the endless shelves filled with books, the vintage tables, and plants giving an artistic touch, a man behind the counter, with fluffy, ashy brown hair and rosy cheeks, maybe in his early 20’s, notices you. he would’ve noticed you anyway, but it’s definitely not normal to have miserable, teary-faced customers in big dresses at 9 p.m..

“wow,” he simply exclaims with a gaze struck and locked on you. you attempt clear your voice before speaking.

“i, uh, long story short, i ran away from a forced marriage. there is an inn here, right?”

“wow.” he blinks. “the rooms are upstairs.”

after a moment of thought, you yank your engagement ring out and place it on the counter before wiping away any leftover tears under your eyes. “can i get a room?”

his eyes are now full of sympathy, and it makes you want to start crying again. why couldn’t you have been a girl from a small town instead? maybe you wouldn’t have been what people call you behind your back if you had people that actually cared about you. maybe you wouldn’t have been so opposed of so-called love if you were in love with someone like this cute cafe owner without damn money on mind. you blink your tears back as the man hesitates to speak. instead of words, he takes out a mug and gestures for you to sit on the counter stool.

“you look cold. is chamomile tea okay?”

you nod, watching him fill up the kettle with water. it’s unbelievable how the person who cares about you the most is the person you just met. “i’m y/n. you’re kind of cute, what’s your name?”

the tense mood breaks by his soft but loud laughter. “i’m renjun. nice to meet you, y/n.”

it is known that money cannot buy happiness, but it sure as hell does help.

from fendi suits to flashy cars, the rich kids have it all. by day, they’re either studying or working; be it paving their own way into the world (with mummy and daddy’s help, of course) or following in their parents’ footsteps to take over the company they worked for years to build.
