So it seems that no matter how much I distract myself and study a lot to break from this art block, my depression persists, and it's so incredibly frustrating to work with. I do have good days but it seems that I really need to check in with my therapist again, last being on last November.
I still can't take in new commissions but I am open for donations if you could help me out, I need around 80 dollars USD to cover the cost of a one hour session with my therapist and I've already used up my savings for basic needs like groceries.

Really do not like talking about it publicly-- I despise feeling as though I have to beg, it's terribly demeaning and humiliating-- but, my family is having some really bad financial issues at the moment.
Not too long ago we had the household's welfare payments cut by $500, and on top of that, the car broke, and the car is absolutely needed, so we're trying to save to get it fixed. That's. Far easier said than done, though. Do you have any idea how expensive being poor is compared to the amount of income received? Absurd. Horrendous. Terrible.
Been eating only once a day for God knows how long now, but, it's to the point where I do have to go an entire day without every now and then. And y'know what? That fucking sucks. Bad.
The most I've been able to eat was when I was in hospital recently, where malnourishment was such a big concern that, despite my admission for mental health reasons, I wound up having to be treated for physical health issues for most of the duration of my stay.
It sucks.
This sucks.
Being poor sucks.

my paycheck got a big cut and now we can't afford anything we need. never been more stressed, our food stamps were cut down from the max to 100 just from having the job at all, so we can not afford to eat at all. there is nothing in our house which is difficult as we are both disabled with no way to get to a food bank. and soon we will likely not be able to afford rent as they are cutting our disability from the job down and they said we may even owe them in the future
we have 0 dollars to our name and none of my pay can go to anything but trying to make rent. i have had previous posts explaining how we got into such a bad financial situation, having been made homeless because of homophobia, this job was supposed to help get us out of this rut but so far we are in a worse situation financially than ever before. anything at all would really help, even 1 dollar towards food

on december 9th, there is a wisconsin all out for palestine rally in madison. i really encourage anyone who is in this state and has the means to travel to madison to show up for this especially as more people are showing "fatigue" for the palestinian cause and social media posts dwindle.
if you're in milwaukee, the local chapter of JVP is arranging transportation help if you dont have a car and the badger bus is also a relatively inexpensive and convenient option, it runs multiple times per day and will take you about 30 mins walking or a quick uber trip to the capital if you select the 'campus and lake' stop.
p.s. i know madison in general is pretty milquetoast + white liberal-y, but the activism and rallies for palestine specifically lately have been extremely well organized, meaningful, actually leftist and abolitionist, calling for more than a ceasefire, and led by/centered palestinian-americans & other SWANA organizers.

The Laguna Madre is a beautiful ecosystem that houses so many species of wild life and many migratory species of shore birds go there to eat and rest. Its all thanks to the sea grass that grows there, and after the big freeze of Texas in 2021, it is slowly making its recovery and now it's in danger again!

If Elon continues with this disguising act, nitrogen and hydrogen rich waste will be dumped and plankton and algae will begin to overpopulate and create a cloud of themselves over the sea grass causing it to not get the sunlight it needs to photosynthesize. It will basically be suffocated by the overpopulation of microorganisms and die out and so many species of animals will lose that shelter they need to feed, breed and even escape dangers like predators. This grass also feeds the endangered green sea turtle and was even given the name "Turtle Grass" for its huge importance to these creatures.

Not only that, but the South Padre Island is one of the largest ports in America and has many shrimping and fishing companies that rely on the environment to make a minimum wage. And once the water gets polluted, so many people can get sick or worse if they eat the fish and shrimp that have been exposed to it!

This is serious! And if you or someone you know lives in Texas there is a way you can make a comment and state how you DON'T WANT LITERAL SLUDGE IN THE OCEAN! IT WILL HURT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND ANIMALS AND THE VAST AND DIVERSE ECOSYTEM THEY LIVE IN!
