Elena was walking around Mystic Falls like per usual. She heard a voice behind her and she turned around to see a red haired women asking about the Grille towards her. She let a small smile curl at her lips as she chuckled. "Sure I was going there myself, it is a great place. You must be new here. I'm Elena." She spoke as she motioned Echo to follow her.

       Echo watched the stranger walk by she wasn’t sure who she was but then again Echo was still new to town. This place seemed like a nice place to live in, and it was much better then Beacon Hills so she couldn’t complain about that much. Deciding to go and talk to the girl she walked over to her, “Hello, I’m Echo and I was wondering if you could tell me where The Grill was I heard that it had some pretty amazing food, and I am not the best of cook.” Echo laughed before giving the girl a a smile.

Elena let her eyes roll as she listened to Katherine, she was zoning out as Katherine didn't matter to her anymore. "Listen Katherine, you are the damsel in this distress of a town now, College is in a few months and Damon is following and staying close. I bet he is happy that you will actually get your end and die. I know I won't be crying. I will have fun burying you six feet deep." Elena laughed as she felt the strong urge to push Katherine against a wall and make her feel the pain she placed against everyone else.

As the two embraced Elena didn't know how long this would last but she was so happy. It was Alaric. Someone who was basically her father, that he was someone she needed and she missed him dearly. "I've missed you." She whispered out as they rocked softly. "Do you know how long you are back?"

Swing a hand behind him he closed the door once inside and pulled her into a hug. “Yep, I’m still here.” He rocked a bit back and forth, happy that he could feel her embrace once more. He didn’t know if this would last but right now he didn’t really care.
