Hey, I have a question. I keep hearing on Tumblr in particular that the beetle that Helaena plays with at dinner in episode 8 is a gift from Aegon and that it is written in the script. Is that true?
I don't remember that scene at all. I don't think it is only because Helaena isn't mentioned much, if at all, in the scene beyond what we see. I wouldn't think this is the case since in the script they're both dismissive of each other, but I could be wrong, it's been like 4 months since I read the scripts.
"He thinks it's shocking to her. But she doesn't just get shocked, she gets excited by it. …I think what it's saying there is that young women want sex as much as young men." — Clare Kilner, House of the Dragon | 1.04 "King of the Narrow Sea" Director
Donna was the first one to accept Jenny as a the Doctor's daughter. Even before he did. And the moment he opens up to her about the loss of his family and his pain and grief, Donna immediately tells him that she will be there to help him heal, as well as Jenny. Donna is already a part of the Doctor's family here.
