You would be surprised at how much easier and less frustrating life becomes once you start saying "They probably have a reason for doing that."
Why is this guy driving so slow?!
There's probably a reason for that.
That reason is not malice.
It's not incompetence.
It's not for you to know.
It's nothing you can control.
It won't be helped by driving aggressively around them.
Be patient.
Be kind.
Be adaptive.
Especially when you're piloting The Metal Box That Can Easily Kill Everything Within 30 Feet
driving is so freaking fun guys dont you just love being in a big metal thing that can completely crush you if someone feels like doing stupid things on the road
I had a 6 hour long conversation with my mom after playing Umurangi Generation the other day and I still have so many thoughts rolling around in my head. What a perfect game.
I legit might try writing an essay about the level on the train. Outside of the DLC, it’s the only stage where there is constant movement but it’s entirely external. The landscape changes as the vehicle you’re in moves along it’s track, going through a pitch black tunnel with the light at the end of the tunnel opening out into an ocean of debris, a discomfort.
What is that, littering the water? Leftover construction materials from abandoned infrastructure? Is it refuse thrown into the sea and forgotten? Are these parts from a destroyed mecha?
You’re tasked with photographing birds that sit like pinpricks on a distant scaffold, barely noticeable in contrast to the endless waters and massive detritus. You know how big they are; you’ve been able to simply walk up to them before. But they’re nothing, now, here.
Maybe the darkness of the tunnel is better.
Maybe the visual silence is better than the disquiet that sight has bestowed upon you.
