so I think we all know that the finale being titled “The Calvary Has Arrived” is a reference to the first line any of CF99 said back in their introduction in The Clone Wars
But what if it goes deeper than that?
What if we see our beloved Bad Batch + a newly rebellious Emerie trapped, surrounded by storm troopers when all of a sudden the door busts in to reveal Rex, and as many clones as he could free on his way in? He pulls off his helmet, grinning at the small squad.
“The calvary has arrived.”

An Update!
Hey all! So I wanted to let you guys know about a couple things :)
First things first, I'm probably going to somewhat disappear/not be as active in May! I know that in basically any post involving him, I refer to C as my "husband" but technically that won't be true until May 25th (after dating for 10.5 years, we are finally getting married!) so I'll be rather busy next month!
I should have a little bit of time between that and my summer camp job starting mid-June (that'll end sometime in August)
I'll try to be as active as I can during the summer, but unfortunately I can't guarantee anything with what signal can be like out there!
All that being said, I'm working hard to get as many things written while I still have a good amount of free time so I can queue them up to post while I'm away. I may have to slow down updates (if I do, it'll probably be about every other week), but I'll be sure to let you all know if I do!
Thank you all for the amazing support you show every week! It really means the world to me (and blows my mind that anyone would enjoy the musings of a mid-twenties autistic stay-at-home cat dad lol)

(Not sure if this idea has been floated already, I'm relatively new to tumblr)
I'm convinced the finale is going to have plenty of callbacks to the Bad Batch's intro story in TCW (I mean, we've already gotten a few callbacks).
So...
Since Tech was the one who directly helped Rex find and retrieve Echo, and then carried Echo through the shafts...
What if Echo is the one to find Tech and carry him out of Tantiss???

It is *checks watch* 3 days until the Bad Batch finale and I am again asking why bother showing us that Crosshair scooped up Omega's satchel of 30k credits in the escape from Lau if we were not going to get a fantastic scene of one of them supplying surprise funds for an ill-advised adventure.

Putting this out into the world now in case I end up being right: due to a myriad of reasons, the least of which being the random release schedule to make sure The Bad Batch is finished before May 4th, I’m like 99% sure the last episode will wrap up most loose ends but end on a vague cliffhanger so that Star Wars can announce a new follow up show about Rex/Echo/Wolffe/Gregor/the clone rebellion or whatever to replace The Bad Batch the way that The Bad Batch was announced when The Clone Wars ended.
