“You told them.”
Calum didn’t phrase it like a question, hurling the accusation over Luke’s shoulder, where Michael stood sheepishly. The three boys had shown up at Calum’s apartment in the midst of his packing, taking him entirely by surprise.
“I had to, they-“
“I’m leaving,” Calum interrupted him, looking to Ashton and Luke, where they were crowded in his doorway. “And there is nothing you can do to stop me. I know where they are and I’m going.” He braced himself for an onslaught of questions, for irritation, for the boys to try and convince him that he was making a mistake. Anything but what he was met with.
