â i wouldnât go that far iâd just say it went downhill.â sofia shrugs gently, and thereâs a soft shake of her head at who had been littering. â i canât believe people litter, it ruins the environment and is a crime too. â
âdownhill donât cut it anymore.â or maybe, that was just the cynic in him talking. he didnât THINK so ; but his self awareness was pretty limited. âthey donât give a shit. they never have, so itâs easy to give less of one now. thatâs all this is.âÂ

âhey-â itâs closer to a bark than it is any KIND of greeting. his uniform on ( and looking mighty fine inside of it ), his arms crossed over his chest and his chin held a little too high, cris... was not the most DELIGHTED looking guy, for someone who was on duty and not behind a desk for the first time in a WHILE. âthe city might be gone to shit, but littering is still a crime.âÂ

â oh the paint, yeah i was painting and needed some fresh air.â tati has painted stained fingers, and paint stained clothes. itâs something sheâs used to, and something she had missed. it clearly didnât bother her, and truthfully ? to finish it she needed more inspiration. â can only paint for so long and not need a break. itâs almost finished too, but it just.. it needs something. just donât know what yet but when it does itâs going to look so beautiful.â
he didnât even want to... say, what he had briefly believed the PAINT to be. that was really what all these events were doing to him. cris thought of himself as a logical being, and yet at this point, he would not have been shocked if he had a SITUATION on his hands. âiâm no artist,â he didnât have a âbutâ. he was no artist. he was no poet. he had never been destined to being one of the GREATS, no matter what that was. âyou probably have a better eye for all that than i ever will.âÂ

MOONLIGHT. Â what is your museâs ideal date? where / who with / etc?
technically answered previous !Â
ODE. Â does your muse have a way with words?
i donât really think so, to be honest. not in the way this question means, anyway. cris is FLIRTATIOUS ( maybe even good at it, whoâs to say ) and once he kind of knows somebody, he can say the type of things that will make âem melt⊠but for the most part he says it how it is, and thatâs that.
NAUGHTY. Â what is your muse like in bed?
to put simply : pretty good. cris likes rough sex, for the most part, and always kind of has ; he likes to be the more dominant partner, but he is open to someone taking control off of him, and even finds that, in itself, kind of hot. heâs a giver, and he really does enjoy giving oral, with absolutely no thought nor need to receive it, too. uh. yeah !Â
SWEETHEART. Â did your muse have a childhood sweetheart?
answered !Â
TRUE LOVE. Â does your muse believe in true love?
i feel kinda bad âcos so far i have not one char that does, but⊠no. cris believes that love is passing ; if it LASTS for two people then thatâs fine, but - if it doesnât, thatâs life.Â
EMBRACE. Â does your muse like hugs? what are their hugs like?
cris is kinda neutral on them ( though he is a HUGE mummyâs boy, so he always gives his mum one when he visits and tends to draw out the moment a little ), but i think the hugs he DOES give would be pretty good. heâs tall enough that i feel he can wrap his arms around most people and put his head on top of theirs, and just⊠give the illusion, even if this world is FUCKED, that theyâre safe for a little while in the circle he creates.Â
ROMANCE. Â is your muse a romantic or a cynic?
his blog is literally cynicism⊠so⊠weâll go out on a LIMB and call him a cynic, though i think when it comes to love, he is surprisingly a little more hopeful.Â

DATE. Â what is your museâs ideal date? where / who with / etc?
i really do hate that iâm doing him like this, but⊠netflix and chill. heâs just NOT the sort of guy who takes all that much to impress, and on the flip side, he isnât the kind to go out of his way ( unless heâs REALLY trying ) to go above and beyond for a girl. give him some takeout, some beer, some garbage action movie or cheap thriller. heâd much rather hang out in his own apartment near to his own bed than he would fork out for something EXPENSIVE and stay overnight somewhere, to boot.Â
I LOVE YOU. Â does your muse find âi love youâ easy or hard to say?
surprisingly⊠cris doesnât struggle with that. heâs always been the kind to say âlove youâ back to his mom before he hangs up the phone, and heâs never had a huge amount of trouble in saying it back to anyone whoâs said it to him. he went through a stage in his angry teen years, but for the most part⊠he got the help he needed with that problem, and he was appreciative enough to his foster fam to begin saying love you to them, too. he says it to matilda all the time, he even sometimes slips and says it to gaia, even now. i love you just isnât a taboo, for him.Â
S Â : Â SWEETHEART. Â did your muse have a childhood sweetheart?
he sure DID, and lucky for u all, itâs a wanted connection on the main
cristian de la cruz, our manny montana is looking for their ex fiancĂ© who resembles megan fox, dev patel, lakeith stanfield, janel parrish  / up to player and should be 28+. applicants do to contact rachel ( worldweariied )to talk over details before applying.(  so. yikes. this is was that relationship. they met when they were kids, and cris was the little boy who would tug on their hair and make fun of them, though they gave it back twofold. when they hit their teens and started noticing one another, that was kind of it - and everyone just sort of⊠expected them to get married, really, and live their lives entwined. there was certainly love there, because they wouldnât have put up with one another for so long if there wasnât. but they werenât ready for the level of commitment that everyone was expecting of them, and kind of went through all the motions for a very long time⊠dooming it to fail. cris had a lot of issues that made their relationship pretty rocky at times, and iâm not gonna say they didnât have âem, too. they probably did. they got engaged. they even walked down the aisle. and then⊠they didnât show up, or cris left mid service, orâŠ- something happened, and things just didnât pan out the way it was meant to. think shameless, with fiona smoking in her wedding dress after her wedding came to a crashing halt. they fell apart in spectacular fashion, and life hasnât been the same since.  )

there would be plenty of time to regret being dragged to this event by bree later. yet she was young and deserved the chance to still experience the fun things in life. at least what others considered FUN, because fred had no idea what that word meant anymore. to him being cooped up somewhere with his books or at the beach was way more entertaining than being at a stuffy event. this wasnât his time to complain though, he just had to suck it up and make it to the end of the night. one positive about all of this was that he had the chance to see how he was around a large group of people. fred always tried to be reason and caution before anything else, so if he felt his throat drying up he would just repel the HUMANS around him. it was a good idea in his head.
even though he wasnât thirsty, at least not yet, he was still using his ability to his own benefit. bree had went on her own because she actually liked these gatherings and left fred to find for himself. that meant that he had to make sure he had at least a couple of feet of distance in the crowd. if someone would push themselves in front of him then theyâd suddenly feel sick. his back was his weak spot though, his friend knew that and thatâs how sheâd approach him. he didnât expect a child to be the one to reach his blind spot though, DAMMIT. now everyone was going to look at him and the cry had distracted him and made him forget about repelling everyone around him. fred turned around, trying to do so as slow as possible, to see what the hell even happened. it must not have been nice for someone that small to bump into someone that tough. fuck. âi - itâs okay, really.â maybe he needed to work on his communication skills, but he didnât need to talk to people for most of his life. some doctors even thought he was selectively mute. âiâm sorry. i should have heard her coming.â it was ENDEARING to see that the little girl had someone that cared so much for her wellbeing. it was something fred had never experienced growing up. âis she okay?â
he had vivid memories of similar situations when heâd been growing up, except... when cris had disappeared, it had always been intentional. mariana de la cruz hadnât meant to leave him behind, the time heâd hidden in a rack of clothes, but nevertheless... he had grown out of such tendencies quick, though that didnât negate the fact heâd had them. thankfully, matilda wasnât like him. she didnât mean to cause him panic. she was just a CHILD, and children... could be thoughtless.
she was pretty hardy, but he supposed it mustâve been a rough fall ; her cries wouldâve led him to her quick enough, even if his eyes hadnât locked onto her. cris didnât have it in him to be mad at the guy before him, even if he was so inclined to be. he seemed GENUINELY apologetic, and... concerned, he supposed was the word, for her welfare after the fact. it was most surely her fault, and putting any blame upon him wouldnât be fair. âsheâs fast,â he said, simply - absolving him of any responsibility for the collision, because he figured he should. rubbing small circles into her back and rocking her back and forth in the sort of way he hadnât had to since she was a baby, cristian gave the other a sheepish kind of smile - allowing matilda to get it out of her system, even as he needed. âsheâs a tough one, like her mum. sheâll be fine. you good, or do we gotta... exchange insurance numbers and shit?â a tiny twitch of the corners of his mouth were the only indication of JOKE.

Billie had thought that perhaps the bright lights and seasonal festivities of the Winter Wonderland would pull her out of the rut she had been stuck in for the better half of a month. She had thought wrong. Everywhere she turned she saw parents doting on their children, lovers with their hands intertwined, groups of friends laughing over hot chocolate and warm apple cider. She felt that her loneliness might swallow her whole.Â
She was ready to turn away from the fun and head home for the night when someone bumped into quite aggressively. She was prepared to go off on the offender when she realized that it was not just a child, but one of her students. âMatilda!â She bent down to check on the tiny human. âAre you alright honey?â Matilda did not get a chance to respond before her father scooped her up. Billie stood up, her eyes never leaving Matilda. âItâs totally okay - I canât say I blame her. Itâs pretty excited around here, isnât it?â Her question was directed to the child. The only times she didnât feel lonely were those precious moments she got to teach and connect with her dance students. Kids had a way of providing much needed distractions from real life issues. She looked towards Cris. â"How are you? Having fun?â
thereâs a moment where he CONTINUES to fret ; and then, thereâs a spark of recognition. he knows the girl thatâs crouched down before his daughter, not even just vaguely - he mightâve only dropped her for her lessons a handful of times, but the amount of love matilda had for them and for her teacher was enough to make her hard to forget. heâs already too far gone in the motion of picking her up to stop, but tilly isnât half as shy as heâs sure she would have been with a total stranger ; elevating herself towards billie even in his arms, tiny voice piping up with a, âiâm ok.â
heâs not... good, with people. itâs kind of a character flaw of his, but... tilly really adored billie, and he REALLY adored her. if there was one thing his daughter had a huge influence on, it was how he perceived and responded to a select few other people ( opposed to the wide majority ), and he fixed a slight smile into place as he looked back at the younger, allowing tilly to respond, âdaddy and i were on the ferris wheel!â so, her tumble was forgotten. or maybe, not forgotten, per say - but unimportant, compared to how desperately she needed to tell her dance instructor what sheâd been up to. the fact she really was ok was a RELIEF. âwe both are, arenât we, bud?â matilda nodded, and he looked... slightly less pained than usual, admitting to the fact that he HAD been enjoying himself to a point. âyou... here with anyone? or just solo enjoying your break from the grind?â

Tali had been enjoying her break, taking in as much of the festival as she could sucking on a candy cane, carrying several others in her hands as she felt a loud weight crash into her leg. Eyes darting downward and a smile appearing on her face as she saw such a small child. She knelt down to stabilize the kid, offering them a candy cane a she saw (what she assumed was the girls father). She just shook her head, signalling no harm done. Scribbling quickly across her notebook, âkids will be kids, i donât think I listened much at that age either.âÂ
it was hard to tell whether she didnât cry cause she was his kid, or because of the CANDY CANE that had appeared in her hands between him losing sight of her and him catching up. probably a mix of both, if he were to make a guess. gaia would surely kill him when he dropped her off, later, for letting her have so many sweets ; but if it saved him from having to work out how to deal with a freak out... so be it. âdid you grow out of it?â itâs not even that much of a rhetorical, though he isnât half as exasperated as the question implied. âknow what age?â

irina-denaliâ:
The night thus far had seemed to be going well for those attending the event. Irina was doing her best to look out for any troubles that might involve people ending up missing or worse yet dead. She couldnât help but want to protect the humans around her because it was something she could do. One of the only things she could do without finding out more of what was causing the issue in the first place. The attention to the details of the crowd around her was the only thing that made her miss the signs signaling the small child headed straight for her. She felt the crash of the soft body into her legs and she did her best to lighten the blow but she couldnât race to stop the child entirely. Someone would surely notice had she moved at inhuman speed to catch her. Instead she had to move at a pace that was excruciatingly slow and she did not save the girl from hitting the pavement beneath her at all. Irina was moving to help her up though when suddenly a man swept the little girl up and she had to take a step back to avoid crashing into him too.
âOh well there is certainly no apology needed. I understand the need for adventure she must be feeling,â Irina answered as she smiled softly at the stunned little girl. âMatilda, was it,â she prompted the little one her attention almost completely on the adorable little child. âMy name is Irina and Iâm sorry I couldnât catch you before you took that little tumble. I was getting very excited as well so I wasnât watching my steps.â
not the biggest disaster they could have had. tilly wasnât the kind of kid to burst into tears from a relatively minor fall, so at least he didnât have to deal with THAT ( gaia was so much better at the waterworks ; heâd have panicked, if it had come to it ). cristian didnât mean to be so... hurried, though, something that almost spelled disaster for him and irina. his thoughts were only on scooping her up. he didnât think about the near collision that could have occurred, had she not been so quick on her feet.
âneed for naughtiness,â he half corrected irina, half chastised his daughter - in response, she buried her face in his neck. he understood what she was going through. REALLY ; he did. it was a big world, and she was a little kid looking at it all with WIDE eyes. but he hadnât enjoyed the spark of panic that had built up within him, the moment she disappeared from view. cristian only had a few good things in his life ; his daughter topped them all. âyou wanna say hi to the nice lady?â he gave her a little jostle, but she only pressed her face in tighter ( her wild hair tickling his nose ). âsheâs not actually shy,â she made a noise of protest, but didnât prove him right, âyou give her a second, sheâll probably come outta it.â heâs not GOOD with such things. thank youâs. niceties. âmatilda, irina. irina, matilda. and iâm cris,â a quirk of his lips ; the most of a smile he ever really gave. âthanks. for being so good âbout it.â

PEYTON had been excited about the festival from the second that she learned about it. festivals had been a big part of her childhood, so this was a chance for her to reminisce on her younger days. more than that though? she was excited for her daughter to experience her first festival. maisie was a toddler with a ton of energy, and giving her a place to run around, play games, and work off the energy was an ideal way to make sure that her daughter was worn out by bedtime. the hardest part about taking a toddler to an event this busy? keeping an eye on her. maisie was constantly go, go, go and it was hard enough for peyton to keep up with her in a normal place, but here? it was even harder. maisie had already escaped her parentsâ sights a couple of times, but thankfully had turned around to find them again when sheâd realized sheâd gotten too far away. this time, maisie had wandered a fair distance from her mother and the moment that peyton found her, she was sitting on the ground in the middle of the crowd across from a little girl who appeared to be close to her age. â there you are! â she called to the toddler with a frustrated tone. to peyton, it looks like the toddlers had collided with one another, which caused the mother to quickly scoop her daughter up into her arms, checking that she was alright before turning to the other girlâs father. hearing his apology, she smiled softly and shook her head. â itâs alright. believe me, i understand. maisie here has a track record of not listening at times herself. â she admitted with a light giggle. â is your little one okay? â
he and gaia were lucky, really. in all the ways that COUNTED, matilda had taken after her mother - the most preferred outcome of the two of them reproducing, for sure. but in this scenario, tilly was just enough his daughter. the collision and subsequent fall mightâve made another kid cry, but she was made of HARDER stuff ; taking it on the chin, rebuffing his concern and beginning to squirm her way out of his arms almost immediately. she only minded being babied when she was in the company of peers. a little young, he thought, to be like that ; but he couldnât forsake her.
âsheâs good,â he used one hand to muss up her hair, earning himself a little grin and a GLARE before she took her little hand in his, deciding that unless she stopped the madness, thatâs where it would be staying for the rest of the evening. âyours?â they seemed to be going through the same issue, so cris had some degree of sympathy. his next words were aimed at the two little oneâs between them, âyou girls have gotta learn to put on the brakes, next time, yeah?â tilly agreed with a little nod.Â

a winter wonderland was NOT cristianâs idea of a fun time ; plain and simple. he wasnât the kind of grinch who had lost his childlike wonder over time and reverted into one, as an adult - even when he was a kid, he hadnât LOVED the holidays. there were a couple ones, and then the holidays in general had become a... reminder, of sorts, of the life he hadnât gotten to live. it had always been pointless to him, and he had always resigned himself to the way he WAS - but then matilda had come along, and no matter how low on the measure of fun the wonderland ranked ( somewhere below having a tooth pulled ), he would do anything for his kid. seeing HER face light up in joy was enough for him to feel good about their chosen activity.Â
the trouble was, she was a little kid in a CROWD. the atmosphere alone was enough to wind her up, and she had eaten copious amounts of chocolate over the course of the evening. of course she was running ahead of him, in spite of the fact that he had already told her to stay close. of course she was pushing her little legs as fast as they could go, weaving around the adults, dodging his line of sight a couple times in her plight - and of fucking course the crowd chose THAT moment to close in. âtilly-â he called, sharply ; but it was too late. she was lost to him. it was only a couple of moments. cris broke into something close to a sprint, and he pushed past the wall of people with some force. his frantic dad gaze was searching for her little mess of CURLY hair, and he called to her a couple times before he heard her cry ; sheâd run into someone. probably full force, to cause her to have fallen so abruptly down. âmatilda, i told you to STOP running-â he was there scooping her up in an instant ( she hadnât been gone long, but the relief was evident from his EXPRESSION ), looking up to who sheâd bumped into. apologies... not his strong suit. âsorry âbout that. she doesnât listen.â

"august.â the sight of the otherâs figure bent over the morning newspapers isnât unusual to cristian, at this point, though he wished that for just one day, he would take a BREAK. if not for his OWN sanity ( which had to be wearing thin ), then for the sake of keeping peace. there were members of the seattle police department who didnât much care for augustâs presence, at least not right now. he hadnât been formally charged, even questioned - but it was on the cards so long as his innocence was unsure, and cristian...- he didnât want to SEE the guy get got, just because he got in the way of the wrong people on the wrong day. he takes a sip of bitter coffee, and he forces himself to try and be... empathetic. âanything sound like her?â
