i was squarely in my boring 'oh my god i have to avoid being a mary sue' phase so she's not a pegasus but she's still an artist and has a cool unicorn chemist friend so she turned out interesting enough

meanwhile my middle sister was entering her edgy years so we did get a pony oc called 'bloody knife'. i don't remember if any images remain unfortunately

when I started playing godville it wasnt enough for me to design my hero, I also had to give myself a cool-looking god design so I could draw us together. so yeah phantom thief angel is not the first character of mine to use this hairstyle (which i took from winx stella)

the dress might be kinda plain but six wings and multiple halos look cool enough that I feel like this design works

the result is, funnily enough, exactly the amount of characters-with-sprites in each story

cinderella only has river the prince (unnamed in the novel but yeah he has a canon name)

emerald has detective, diamond, mysterious teacher and ending-exclusive teacher's daughter

switched hair color a bunch (brown to hot pink to orange) and her outfit evolved from plain white tracksuit to this. not sure if the symbols mean anything specific i just wanted cool crosses

before rereading the comic I almost forgot she and her brother were supposed to switch personalities when at school. tawny as gang leader has a constant scowl while shawn is a cheerleader all the way but outside that tawny is supposed to act cutesy while shawn becomes Chill (tm)

they also had signature branded food their in-universe fans were crazy over (paradise chocolate and hell cola)

while tanitas can look whatever, all three denis look very similar - long straight pink hair and eyes some shade of brown/yellow

this one is a protagonist for my high school angel versus devil themed gang war comic. she does nothing throughout the whole thing except come watch the fights and listen to a fangirl ramble about the cool gang leaders. ... spoilers

she just stands there menacingly and this clues in the two gang leaders that maybe they should stop. the whole thing is 'mom comes to get her kids back from the kindergarten and waits patiently for them to finish playing' except mom & the kids are angel aliens and the kindergarten is earth. the comic had around 90 pages

had to draw a new facial expression because deni's grumpiness didn't cut it. she's The angry tanita

black butler oc with a dramatic backstory, involving many family deaths until she's the only survivor out of around eleven. at least three people were killed by her young and crazy admirer. you can see why she might be angry all the time

her current status is a liaf transfer student, chilling in the gardens, looking at flowers and mostly succeeding to move on.

she's for khr, cloud flame. her main gimmick is a 'genetic defect' that enhances her reflexes to a point where she can dodge everything that can in theory be dodged. at some point i added a bit of backstory to elaborate on this - she couldn't get vaccines because of this twitchiness, therefore was a sickly child. growing up with books contributed a lot to her wide-eyed idealism and i-can-fix-him attitude (she couldn't fully fix anyone but so many people will kill for her as a result. one of her nicknames is 'sunshine' despite the cloud thing)

has two grown-up versions, war future where she has seen the horrors and liaf-adjacent one where she has vague memories of the horrors but got to grow up in a better timeline

it's not a radical redesign she still uses both of these. my first magical girl!

funnily enough the only civilian pictures I have with her on this blog right now are for angelic layer but she's originally for shugo chara

man i was heartbroken when i learned kukai and utau are canon. i hadn't the faintest clue what naruto had in store for me

haruko did get slight changes to her original designs but it was like changing the color of her school sock trim to blue and giving her racer form proper gloves

she's important because during her creation I made a full switch to doing my own sketches. a lot of pictures with kokuto and tereza are lost forever because they were on deviantart bases and i deleted them in a fit of cringe. not everything stays on the internet forever. if you have my old base-based pictures to prove me wrong please let me have them

whenever I pictured her human form in my head she'd look something like luna from sailor moon, but in this case the roleplay is actually archived (thanks @nightgerika you're the best) so I could check and discover an image that was supposed to represent her transformation! and I thought having her wear her own cat head would be extremely funny

over the course of the rp she goes from pure black cat (backstory) to vaguely rainbow-colored (getting hit by a few too many alchemy experiments) to orange (first transformation from human back to cat) to black again (from human back to cat 2, spell being cast by a suspiciously blonde elf. well now i know where dior's design comes from)
