When I say “protect Dorian”

The way we treat our favourite characters reflects the way we treat people around us in a way. That’s why we need to ‘protect’ Dorian - despite being a fictional character, he’s still one of us = queer people, and people who completely disrespect him obviously have no respect for queer people in general, and need to be explained why their thoughts/action/opinions are wrong.

Dorian is not a fashion accessory. Neither are we.

Dorian is not your ‘sassy gay friend’. Neither are we.

Changing a few things regarding my rules. The entirety of my guidelines are below the cut, including the new stuff.

I’ll keep this short and sweet but here’s the lowdown on Cullen:

He’s canon unless a specific AU is being played. Mainverse is smack-dab in the middle of the Inquisition, but before the final confrontation with Corypheus.

He enjoys meeting new people but his attitude fluctuates. A lot. He’s a complicated human being and that usually means he’s unpredictable with whom he encounters.

If you threaten him or his loved ones, he will respond accordingly depending on the situation. Now, he won’t attack/stab/whatever because that would be godmodding and that is a no-no. HOWEVER, if you’re okay with this type of thing, I’m all for it but I will not have Cullen blatantly harm your character without prior discussion of this type of thread.

My Cullen is a panromantic demisexual. He won’t openly flirt with anyone unless there are some very strong mutual feelings.

What to expect on this blog:

Mini paras, gifchats (could be with icons or gifcons), one-liners, ask RPs. I like to keep some threads short and to the point, but they always have room for expansion. I’m a grower, not a shower (lol whoOPS wiener jokes).

PG-13 to NC-17 themes. Alcohol, language, suggestive humor, PTSD, themes of addiction and violence will be present, but not very often. Sexual themes are to be expected as well. If I tag something as NSFW, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s smut. It all depends on the thread.
