Thorns (Pt.2)

Once you got to class, you sat down at your regular seat.
The class started out like always, the teacher cleared his throat and began his lesson.
After the lesson was done, the lunch bell rang.
Of course, there were thousands of kids (or what felt like it) running to the lunch room.
The lines got longer and longer so you decided to get some chips from the vending machine.
You waited for Klitz or atleast Eli to walk into the lunch room.
But there was nobody.
You just figured they already had sat down and forgot to tell you where they where sitting at.
You decided to sit by some of your old friends, still searching around for a sign of Klitz, Eli, or Matthew.
" So, Rumor has it that you've been dating Klitz? " One of your friends says while rolling the overcooked school spaghetti noodles around on her fork.
" Um. Yeah, he's actually a really nice guy once you get to know him. " You say while opening the bag of chips.
" Isn't that kind of embarrassing, though? I mean the amount of bullies he gets is insane. " One of the girls, Elaine, says.
" I mean, not really- I don't care if I get made fun of for dating him. " You say, feeling uncomfortable.
" Oh, well that's sad. " Elaine says again.
You finally decide that this is enough.
You get up and walk away.
You see a familiar face sitting down at a table.
It was Eli.
Before he saw you, he said
" Where's your girlfriend? "
You walk up behind him and yell, " BOO! "
He drops his plate and it falls on the ground.
" Oops. Sorry Eli.. " You say nervously.
" It's fine, dude. Don't do it again though or I'll kill your family. " He says jokingly.
You sit down next to Klitz, fiddling with your fingers or jeans.
He looks at you, " What's wrong? " He whispers, adjusting his glasses.
" Nothing. I'm fine, Klitz. I promise. " You say, smiling at him.
But your stomach churned knowing people hated what you and Klitz had. No matter how much you explain you actually like Klitz and aren't dating him out of pity, nobody believes you.
Nobody.
Elaine didn't even believe you.
What if Klitz hears these rumors and believes them?
You sit there, staring off into the distance.
The thoughts rushed in your mind.
You felt a soft hand squeeze your arm.
" Y/N, what's up? You can tell me anything. " Klitz whispered.
" I'm fine, Klitz. " You say a little more firmly this time.
He nods, not letting go of your arm, intertwining it with his.
You smiled at his dorky-ness. He's obviously not had much contact with girls, and when he does its awkward.
The bell rings for dismissal and you split ways with the group.
But this time you had math with Klitz.
You and Klitz walk together. You two were still in the early stages of relationships so you didn't hold hands yet.
You both walk into math class together.
You sat right next to Klitz.
You watched as he sat down and grabbed his pen out of his bag.
He was cute, even though nobody else really thought that.
But he was yours, and you knew that.

As usual, you were walking into school. Today was a good day, yesterday you got a boyfriend. You two have been talking for a few months and had gotten pretty close. But just yesterday he asked you to be his girlfriend. Nobody knew, so he was gonna tell his friends today.
You walk into the school halls.
There he was.
You walk up to him.
"Klitz! Hi!" You say while hugging him.
"Hi Y/N, Eli, Matthew, Meet Y/N. She's my girlfriend." Klitz said proudly. He knew you where beautiful and wanted to show off to all of the bullies he had that said he couldn't pull someone pretty.
You turn around.
"Hi!" You wave.
One of Klitz's friends, Eli, looked like he was about to scream.
"Alright, Klitz. Who'd you pay to date you?" Matthew said jokingly. They didn't think he was ugly, but of course he was way to awkward to talk to girls.
"Nobody, dude. Just believe in this!" Klitz says.
"How can I prove that I'm actually dating her?" Klitz says while looking at Matthew.
"Kiss her, dude." Eli says, snapped out of his haze.
Klitz turns red, but kisses your forehead and you smile.
You hug him tighter.
"Did you bang her yet?" Eli asks.
"No! Dude-!!" Klitz turned red. His glasses started fogging up. Eli just gave him a visual image.
"Oh. That's sad. I can do it for you if you're too scared." Eli says jokingly.
Eli wasn't too bad looking either, but your heart belonged to Klitz. And you knew that.
"Whatever, dude." Klitz says as he wraps his arms around you.
The bell rang so you all went to your classes.
You couldn't help but smile the entire way to class.

You overheard a conversation he was having.

" No, I mean it. I've had a crush on you for a while. " You say.
" Really? " He asks quickly.
" Yeah. " You say, smiling.
He kisses you and you kiss him back.
You were finally free from Jason and could be with whoever you wanted.
Jason stormed out, pushing people on the way.
" So- Are we like-? " Klitz asks.
You nod.
" I've liked you for a while too Y/N- But Eli always told me you were out of my league. " He says.
" I'm just for you. " You say, hugging him.
He smelt like candles and apples.
You sunk into him.

Klitz, Eli, Matthew, and Danielle.
They didn't care about your body. They just loved your personality. Sure, Eli would make some remarks and say sexual stuff about you, but he didn't just want your body.
You half-walk half-jog to the group.
" Hi! " You say, smiling and holding your backpack close.
They turn around and greet you with a smile.
Klitz stands there awkwardly.

Your heart shattered into what felt like millions of pieces.

You stare at him confused for a minute.
He sighs and starts apologizing rapidly for that.
You cut him off with a kiss.

Klitz leads you inside of his house, then straight to his room.

You lay on the bed.
Klitz's eyes shined.

He puts a condom on, he was too young to get someone pregnant anyway.

His glasses start to fog up from his breathing.

You wait for a second.

You, Matthew, Eli, and Klitz all decided to watch a movie for your 1 year friend anniversary.
" Okay, guys. Should we watch horror, comedy, or adventure? " Eli says while laying DVD's on the table.
" Ahh uh.. " You think for a minute.
" Horror. " You, Matthew and Klitz say in unison.
" Okay. " Eli says, kinda disappointed you guys didn't make a porn joke.
He puts the DVD in the player while you go make popcorn.
You put it in there for 2:35, They started the movie without you but it didn't matter. It was some boring prologue at the beginning anyway.
Suddenly, Klitz walks in.
You stare at him suspiciously.
" Don't worry- I'm not gonna like- kill you or something. Just getting some punch. " He says while opening the fridge door.
" Oh, can you get me some? " You smile.
" Yeah, no problem. " He says, getting the cups and filling them then walking back into the kitchen.
The microwave beeps and you jump.
You take it out, pouring the popcorn into a big bowl then walking back to everyone.
You placed it on infront of everyone.
You sat next to Klitz on the floor.
He gives you a smile and your heart almost melted.
Why does he have to be so cute?
Klitz didn't mind having a group of all boys, but the way you looked at him made him wonder if he was even straight.
As the movie starts you say, " Ooh. I'm excited! "
Nobody responds so you awkwardly stare at the tv.

A jumpscare appears on the screen, making you clench onto Klitz's hand.
His face turned red. You swore you could've saw it shining through the darkness.
Eli starts laughing.
" Holy shit! Y/N jumped like 6ft in the air! " He says playfully.
Matthew and Klitz laugh a bit.
Once you noticed you and Klitz were holding hands you jolted yours back, gaining a confused shutter from Klitz.
He looks at you and mouths, ' Are you okay? '
You nod, staring at the tv.
Klitz leans in and lays his head on your shoulder, his glasses fogging up.
You where screaming inside.
Does Klitz actually like you? Or does he just feel bad and not like you because you're a boy?
You shake the negative thoughts away, shoving popcorn in your mouth to excuse the fact you were about to literally scream.
