I’m more convinced than anything that Oliver was literally trying to not give anything concise away, which is why he said what he said about whether or not he wants Buddie to happen. His body language when he brings up the fact that he doesn’t know what’s going on with Eddie storyline was very much that he’s lying and trying to cover it up by making it seem like he’s very nonchalant and not in the know of what’s happening. When in fact, he does know what’s happening. They’re gonna keep and guard the secret with their lives. And he’s not gonna tell someone in an interview that he really hopes that Buck and Eddie get together especially when his character on the show is currently dating someone else. His body language throughout that entire question is very fascinating to me because you can tell there’s some sort of internal struggle with him, but he keeping a very professional face and answering that question. He kept stuttering and trying to come up with an answer that doesn’t give too much away. He’s not letting his true feelings come to the surface. Him simply acknowledging that they have great chemistry and he doesn’t write the show but go in whatever direction is written just solidifies that it’s happening. It’s in the books.

As a bisexual who is incredibly excited about Buck's story this season and can relate to a lot of it, i want to say something that i can't believe some people will find controversial: Eddie has been queercoded JUST AS MUCH as Buck has this ENTIRE time. And saying you don't care about buddie happening is kinda insinuating you don't care about Eddie getting is own queer storyline and getting thrugh his catholic guilt to find his own freedom. I am SO HAPPY that buck is bisexual and free and i am loving his storyline, but Eddie deserves this freedom too. Anyone who suffered thrugh Supernatural knows that Eddie being straight is just as queerbating as it would have been if Buck stayed straight too and not advocating for that rappresentation is unfair. I am not an older gay man who has been repressing his true self with years worth of catholic guilt and loveless relationships with women, and i cannot imagine how hard that must be. But i know for a fact it's a real thing that many people go thrugh and is a story worth telling, and Eddie is the perfect character to convay the reality of that experience. Why are some people settling? Bucks bisexuality is an incredible victory worth celebrating, and i understand how starved for rapresentation we are as a community, i really do. But we need and should ask for what is right and true to the story instead of getting a little something and immediatly giving up

The we have Chiron, who I feel rather perfectly fits Tommy. Centaurs were considered lusty and wild (a metaphor for toxic masculinity) so Chiron rose above that to become a wise and intelligent centaur who was charged with the education of Achilles. Much like Tommy rising above the toxic masculinity of the 118 before Chim hen and Bobby arrived, to become this confident and comfortable elder queer.

Achilles is the one who taught Patroclus what Chiron had taught him. So something something about Tommy being Bucks education around his queer identity and then later perhaps we’ll see Buck passing on that wisdom to Eddie as he goes through his own journey to being an out and proud queer.

Essentially Achilles and Patroclus were childhood friends (buck and Eddie up to this point), Achilles was taught by Chiron and became a great warrior at his hand (Tommy teaching Buck and helping him on his queer journey). Achilles taught Patroclus what. Huron had taught him and Patroclus also became a great warrior. They fought alongside each other (metaphor for being work husbands) and were said to be lovers when they were adults (ergo after Chiron). They died on the battlefield shortly after one another (Achilles was killed by Paris in the Trojan war after Patroclus was killed by hector (who Achilles killed to avenge P’s death))

I think we just entered the Buddie endgame era but Eddie is in the closet so to be able to emerge from that he needs to process all of his emotions and accept who he is, and this is a process that needs time so i think we'll see that in s8

Is it controversial if I say I don’t actually want Buddie this season? Don’t get me wrong I want them to be endgame and with the way the story is progressing I suspect they will be. But we’ve only had Bi!Buck in the show for what 3 minutes? As of this Thursday we’ll be halfway through the season and Buck and Tommy are only going on their first date. Buck should be allowed to explore his sexuality and enjoy this new relationship for a bit. At this point in time giving us Buddie this season would feel oddly paced. Because otherwise why have Tommy as an intermediary at all? I’m not against having Buck re-examine his feelings regarding Eddie and going ‘oh that’s what that was’ but in terms of Buddie being together. I want to be able to savour that properly and the further we get into season 7 the less time there will be to do that.

I still believe in Buddie Endgame. And I’m here for both Buck and Eddie’s stories (both separate and with each other). ❤️
