hello <3 who are your top 5 dishonored characters and why? asking a couple people and would love to know your favs!
Hiiii!! This is so embarrassing (mostly because they're a obvious) but..
- Havelock
Not a whole lot of people's fav, which, fair i guess but i think I know maybe 3 people who love him and two of them are me and my boyfriend LOL. Anyways, he's awfully interesting to me, even as a character that doesn't seem very fleshed out. The small details about his brother, the "bloodlust," all of that just itch a part of my brain.
- Martin
I think of this guy pretty often too, who would've thought! But, yeah, Martin feels like a character meant for a lot more than what was shown, lots of discarded voice lines and scenes that make me so so sad seeing how they were cut. He's interesting in my favorite way: "fucked around and found out."
Constantly also forget he's not canonically trans LOL
- Billie
Ggghhrg god i love her. Seeing her for the first time in the KoD DLCS was genuinely an ethereal experience. Finding her journal and just wanting to know more about the teenage girl that followed an assassin to his doorstep that ended up basically taking her in. Her relationship with Delilah is complicated and honestly pretty tragic. I know a lot of it gets boiled down to "delilah painted and controlled her," but i think it was so much more than that.
- Treavor
Pathetic and sad. Like one of those cats that dunked their head into a food bowl. Reeeeeallly wish we got to see more development from him, good or bad due to the torment suffered but hey. I think he's a liar for fun or to make himself look better, but at the end of the day: he's the only loyalist that actually has some sort of life history. I would love to talk about my extremely specific hcs for him but alas, another time.

Obvious reasoning: the coolest guy on the planet i love him.
Other than that though: i think he's just incredibly well written. His acts of mercy aren't particularly kind but they're fitting and don't result in death by his hand. His relationship with Emily is so sweet and i think it's cute how much she looks up to him.

Now finally... dishonored characters as fast food customers. Coming from someone who has been working in fast food for almost 2 years now..
Some Bonus HCs:
- Custis and Morgan aren't on here but they would appropriately go in FAST FOOD TERROR if they're together.
- Corvo will try and joke with you during a rush (whether or not you appreciate it is up for debate)
- Jessamine flipped out at an employee once in her life and thinks about it every time she pulls into a drive-thru
- Treavor is a terror in the sense that he doesn't complain to an employee's face, he'll just bitch about it over the phone. Mostly for fun if he's bored.
- Martin asks for every fucking sauce you have. "Just throw a handful in there." Or "How much are you allowed to give me?"
- Daud went through the drive-thru and the employee dropped his change and he just drove off.
- Slackjaw is a silverware hoarder. Asks for 5 at the window every time he comes through and just grabs a handful if he's inside.

Mundane(ish) Martin and Havelock hcs
Martin
- instead of training his hound with other overseers, he would sneak away with her to sit by the river. Martin would train her on his own time but didn't realize she had to be socialized to work properly with others.
- his hound ended up getting shot by a watch officer after she ran towards him because she was was excited to see different people
- Didn't do firing practice with others because he's embarrassed about his poor vision.
- Speaking of poor vision, he lost his glasses when he first arrived at Dunwall’s abbey and couldn't afford the optometrist. He also didn't know his prescription.
- His last robbery victim actually beat the shit out of him with an extra piece of wood in their wagon.
- 100% listened to Treavor’s audiographs like a reality show.
- Would arrive at the pub extremely early in the morning and help Lydia sweep/fold laundry while waiting for the others to wake up.
Havelock
- his younger brother’s name was Jamison and they had a jar they would collect shells and bottlecaps in (Jamison painted the jar).
- Jamison was 10 when he passed and Havelock was 14.
- Dad was also in the navy and not entirely present in his life, so Havelock was a mama’s boy.
- He would visit his mom in a nursing home during the conspiracy and bring her elixir.
- He would tell his mom that “a friend's daughter that's staying with me” reminds him of Jamison, because she's an artist.
- Actually talked to Emily quite a bit and told her what certain curse words meant if she promised not to use them.
- “What's the point in lying to a smart kid?” When asked by Callista to stop.
- Also listened to Treavor’s audiographs when he was out. Talked about it with Martin afterwards.
