finley’s birthday bash - how these characters would be like on your birthday!

a/n: hi!! when your reading this it’ll be my (finley’s) birthday!!! i’m gonna write some of my faves, and i hope you all have a safe weekend<3 also! same rules still apply for haikyuu and genshin impact, no requests for them yet pls
celebrating your birthday with byakuya togami, izuku midoriya, kaeya ablerich, and tobio kageyama
tobio kageyama
gets help from sugawara-senpai because... he’s lost
unless you are like constantly talking about the thing you want for your birthday, he won’t catch on
a few gifts i can see him getting you is a stuffed animal that you can cuddle instead of him when he gets up early for practice, or is traveling at a game
or a necklace that matches with him! maybe like a volleyball for you and whatever your hobby is for him, or initials are always a safe bet
of course paired with candy, but not to much candy as he tells you, “it’s still important to take care of your body (y/n) even if it is your birthday,”
but then give him puppy eyes and he’ll get you all the junk food and candy you want <3
he’s really blushy at you as he puts the gifts into your hands, so please don’t tease him about it

if you’re asleep in the same bed as him when your birthday happens, good luck this man will take his cold ass hands and run them around your tummy and keep whispering about you being the “birthday baby,”

unless! you’re up to party with him, he’ll totally dance around your room with you at 12am even if he is sleepy because he would do anything for you
depending on how he’s feeling, he might take you out for a night stroll!! perfect excuse for him to give you his little fluff scarf thing...
after that? bothering diluc at the bar, but mostly giving all of his attention to you (if diluc would even let him in, it is 12am)
sleeping in with you that morning though is probably his favorite though, after you two were out most of the night

i mean his love language is gifts... but like this is byakuya togami we’re talking about, so who knows how much he’ll spend/how many gifts you’ll get.
real talk, he will try as hard as he can, but he might not be able to get off for your birthday. hes gonna try! but he might just end of getting off early instead</3
but of course! that doesn’t mean he won’t gives you your best birthday ever
he’s extremely grateful for you, for your love and support. and just sticking with him through everything.
so that’s why he tries so hard for your birthday!! you’ve done so much for him and he just loves you so much (even if he has trouble saying it)
izuku midoriya
izuku .. already knows what you want pfft-
he just loves you a lot... and started... a page in his notebook about your birthday
he sneakily asked around your friends/siblings. i don’t think he’ll directly ask you what you want? but he tries to keep it on the down low. it’s a surprise !!
he’s really organized, and unless you are really good at detecting suprises, it’s a pretty good suprise!!
izuku really tries his hardest to make this a good birthday- and he has a lot of fun doing it
at the end of the night he takes you out to the city, and tells you to grab onto him, and you do. so he uses his quirk to jump up to the top of a building, and his suprise is that he takes you up high to look at the city all lit up!

cooking with them + cuddling after with izuku midoriya, denki kaminari, hitoshi shinsou
izuku midoriya
he’s actually a pretty good cook! cooks with his mom a lot
if you told him about this date before hand he would 100% do a bunch of research beforehand and work really hard on memorizing it (hoping to impress you)
even better idea! imagine pro hero izuku coming home early somehow to cook with you!
he’s a bit taller now, so depending on your height, his head rests above yours or on your shoulder.
his voice is deeper, and his hands are rough and calloused from work as he holds your waist and helps you cook from behind.
cuddling after would consist of his hands bein a bit cold from washing the dishes, and he holds you close to him, breathing evening out as he falls asleep after a long day
denki kaminari
can someone say mess omg..
he’s trying okay
he may or may have not have tried to heat up the stove with his quirk.... it didn’t work...
please i really hope you’re good at cooking because this man... just.. just slowly gide his hands away from the stove
maybe do that cute thing where you put your hands over his to help! he gets a lil flustered and might make a flirty joke to balance it out
he also almost always hurts himself on accident while using a knife, u can patch him up!
probably will ask for a kiss on his “booboo” once you finish
works on the dishes with you when you two finish but you probably have to supervise him bc he thinks putting a full bowl of dough in the sink is okay
passes out straight after! he did have fun but you wore him out! so just cuddle up to him or lay on top of his sleeping body for some loving
hitoshi shinsou
he’s... okay at cooking! he can’t do complex stuff, but he used to volunteer at to help make lunches for kids a summer camp!
his favorite thing to make for you is soup! he can’t really mess up soup so
he tries really hard to teach you, too! he does his cute little giggle when you mess up and takes over
no he will not wear an apron. but he will not resist if you try to put one on him
“it’s only because i can’t move because of the fucking food. i am not okay with this.”
teases you when you mess up! but don’t worry he’s not that ruthless with the teasing. it’s more like, “wow. didn’t know my s/o couldn’t cook basic meals,”
he will clean up! he doesnt ask for help he’ll do it for u (what a perfect house-husband am i right)
cuddling with him afterwards is so nice. he’s so naturally warm, and he scratches your scalp as he lulls you to sleep in his arms

slow dancing with your husband, after a long day.
breathing out, you ran your fingers through your hair as you unlocked the door to your shared apartment with your husband.
he was coming out of the bathroom when you entered, and smiled when he saw you. after years of being together, he feels comfortable being himself around you. though of course he still gets a bit blushy when you hold his hand or kiss his cheek.
“hey, how was your day,” he softly asked you, watching you kick off your shoes.
“it was.. okay. it left me tired though,” you replied, moving towards him to give a kiss.
hugging him close, you didn’t let go even after the kiss. He understood after a while and gave you a soft, tired smile as he held you back.
he had the radio on, and it was playing softly from the kitchen. the light tunes danced in the air, and moved their dance near the two of you, and you smiled as you remember the song that was playing.
he was playing a radio that you two used to listen to in high school together, the memories flooding back to you.
you swayed the two of slowly, and he moved his head from on top of yours to look at you questionly.
“c’mon, dance with me, honey,” you whispered, and took his calloused hand into yours.
“w-what? i-i uhm,” he seemed caught off with that question, and moved to hold his face in his hands. He was still easy to fluster, even after all of these years. It was really cute, actually.
“i don’t judge! dance however you want to,” you smiled and hugged him close, moving your face into his neck, “see? I won’t even look if you want me to,”
and, slowly he moved his hand back into your awaiting one, and swayed to the music.
with you humming to the song, and him dancing along, it was a perfect ending to your long day.

oh goodness!
he’s definitely going to try, i will tell you
that he cares a lot about you so maybe he’ll go to midoriya for advice about comfort and he told him to maybe gather your favorite things!
so todoroki being todoroki, he goes detective mode (not really)
to find out your favorites! your favorite candy, favorite movie, favorite dinner, favorite stuffed animal-

very sneaky.
but! he takes a week to plan a movie night in his dorm with fluffy blankets, good food, tasty candy, and pillows and of course him!

shinsou hitoshi
accidentally mentioned that you weren’t feeling well to denki and then got himself into making a suprise present for you!
it’s not that he doesn’t care! he just felt like he would some how make it worse, so he just thought it would be best to leave you alone
basically the plan of action was to take seven of your favorite things, and put them in a present and leave it at your door!
suddenly when you’re leaving for class on monday, there’s ur favorite gum outside your door.
and every day, a new present!
and on saturday, he’s hanging outside your door ready to give you kisses and cuddles!
“suprise. didja guess it was me? i’m like santa but, yknow, in a realtionship with you. heheh, anways, let’s go lay down, okay?”

honestly this boy is so dramatic he probably comes to sweep you off your feet (he might fail) when you’ve had a rough day!
his number one priority is to get you to smile, and whether that’s from jokes or tickles- who knows!
he offers his games to you, letting you rest against his chest while you two play.
or if you’re just tired, you can watch him, and doze off bc he promise he won’t be loud!!!
he can be a good listener when he tries, and trust me he tries so hard for you
and if you just want complete silence, you two can nap and just forget about the world for a second

izuku midoriya
izuku will always try his best to be the most amazing lover he can be, because you deserve the best
he often thinks about marriage with you, even in highschool or college, like what your wedding would be like with him. what dress, or suit? what theme? what season?
he likes when you trace his scars, or kiss them, it makes him feel giggly inside
he can be insecure of his freckles, and loves when you kiss them or compliment them
when halloween comes around, he asks you if you want to watch a scary movie with him, and scares himself even searching for movies to watch
sometimes he has a hard time looking after himself, he can become pretty preoccupied with studying, training etc. he appreciates it if you bring him dinner, water, or just looking after him in general.
he loves rambling about pros and quirks to you, and sometimes stops himself mid sentence to go “oh is this boring? i can stop if you want me to,” only for you to reassure him you’re listening
cuddling with him is so nice, he puts so much thought into every thing he does for you, even cuddling. like “what arm would (y/n) like around them?” or “should i cover them with a fluffy blanket or a long blanket?”
he doesn’t usually sleep in, getting up early for training. on the off days he’s not, he loves staying in with you.

bakugou katsuki
did someone say little spoon!!
he loves spooning and being the little spoon, him facing towards the door so he’d be able to jump into action if they’res danger.
he’s warm, due to his quirk, so he’s such a great cuddle partner!
your personal heating pad, if u will.
though his one flaw is the,, yknow sweating? he kinda sweats a lot
it’s a bit tricky to get him to cuddle as well!
don’t ask him in public he’ll look at you and immediately go “no”
he can’t go soft in public!!! his image...
best time to get him to cuddle is that if you tell him youre scared (even if you’re not!) or that you’re cold. he likes to feel useful pls
other than spooning, he just likes engulfing you in his arms and sleeping (back facing the door)

big spoone! he thinks of it as manly:)
he’s not very warm! but he uses a lot of blankets and wraps you two up in a blanket burrito when you cuddle!
he actually has many blankets and pillows on his bed! he always tries to make his bed up before you come over
he likes to rub your back when cuddling, and you can usually tell he’s fallen asleep when his hand stops
he also rests his lips on your head, occasional kisses spilled in there
kirishima likes talking when cuddling!
mostly he just wants u to talk bc he loves your voice
he is like almost always down to cuddle! he loves it so much, he’ll do anything for you if it makes you happy

anways! probably a really energetic kisser, wants to get in as many kisses as he can while he can!
limited time to kiss his baby he’s gonna use it.
he uses honey chapstick, and tries to use it? but mostly forgets so most of the time his lips are chapped
he’s a bit clumsy, due to how fast he kisses, may fall on top of you if you’re sitting down
his favorite place to kiss you is probably your cheeks! he does this thing where he goes from one cheek to another, says he wants to give them both equal kissies
overall, he tries his best! he can be nervous and rush it sometimes, but he’s a cute kisser

the first time he tried to kiss you, he was in his own head and overthought about it by the time he was ready to kiss,
he turned around and you weren’t there because you had left five minutes ago (late for class) you said goodbye to him and everything, he just wasn’t listening

sitting down beside midoriya on the floor after two finally put the cookies in the oven, you rested your head on his shoulder. it was cold, and you two had the day off so, why not?
you two haven’t been dating for long but the warm, sweet smiles you could compare to candy he gave you every day still made you feel like when you first met. it was funny really, not even dating a month and you two still acted like an old married couple.
the way he whisked your heart away like batter in a bowl, everyday you thought of him. he made you happy in a way that, ironically, you never thought anything but chocolate cookies fresh out of the oven could.
so as you two sat here, laying on his bedroom floor, a thought came into your head. i love you and you did, you did love him. so much. but you were scared, scared of what he would think.
what if you were moving to fast? what if you burned the only chance you had? what if your love slipped right through your fingers?
“hey, (y/n), are you okay?” his voice pulled you out of your thoughts, “i’ve been talking to you for a while now, and you haven’t responded,”
concern graced his beautiful features as he looked over at you
this is it. this is your chance, just do it. don’t overthink it just go for it.
“i- i uhmm,” you cleared your throat, “im fine, but thanks for checking,” you blinked, mentally slapping yourself for not just saying it, and he looked at you, smile beginning to form on his pale face.
“they’re so close to being done! oh i haven’t had chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven in years, (y/n)!” he giggles, standing up and extending a hand to you. “let’s go check on them,”
“izuku! we haven’t even been sitting here for that long, they’re probably not ready,” you replied, starting to laugh as well.
“i know, i’m just excited,” he says, his voice light.
pushing your fears down, you took his hand.
“okay then, let’s go check on them,” you say, standing up fully. so you two waited out the rest of the baking time in the kitchen together, talking. when you heard the timer go off, you moved to help him take the cookies out.
“hey! they’re still hot, silly! you’re gonna hurt your finger,” you warned as he went for the first cookie after you had set the tray down.
his face flushed red as you caught him, and laughed it off. soon, you two were smiling as you ate the (now coolled off) cookies together. as you moved to wipe a stray crumb off his lips, those mushy feelings from earlier still were in the back of your mind, crawling back into your heart.

“i love you,” you said, breathless.
he was stunned, mid sentence when you spoke and interrupted him. strawberry cheeks littered with freckles and deep dark pupils that swirled with chocolate, you loved all of him.
he took a moment to breathe, and then responded. “i love you too, (y/n),” he spoke back to you, and that dark pit in your heart disappeared, just as quickly as it came.
him leaning in to kiss you was only further telling you that,
yes, he loved you too. and that love was overwhelmingly sweet, as it made your heart beat for him.

Can you do the boys with a super insecure female s/o? My insecurities have been worse than normal lately...
a/n: you said boys so,,, gonna do the three most popular boys which is drumroll you guessed it midoriya bakugou and todoroki (also this ended up being gender neutral!)

honestly!! he’s gonna be a bit stuck
he’s always had trouble dealing with his own insecurities and now this person comes along with that makes him feel really happy inside and he.... is annoyed
the most verbal reassurance you’ll get from him is,
