I think people should be more creative with minecraft diaries Garroth's hair. He ran away from home, sure he wears a helmet to cover his face. But doing something with his hair in order to have him look less like his father makes sense. Considering we all agree he fears ending up like his father.

For instance, what if we give Garroth longer hair. Maybe let it go out of his helmet in a ponytail so it looks like a feathered helmet(if you get what I mean?). To add onto this, after the jo9 arc. It gets cut off. Maybe Zane made him do it, and he was forced to. Maybe it got cut during the battle. Regardless, afterwards, he has short hair again and resembles his father again. Which signifies his guilt and shame. (And mayhaps Katelyn could have the opposite thing with her hair. Also having it cut after the jo9 stuff but chosing to do so herself. With it signifying freedom. While with Garroth it signifies how the past will always come back to haunt him and he will never be free from his mistakes, not soon atleast.)

Another very different option. Alter his haircolour instead of his hair length. Maybe he dyes his hair brown or something in order not to be recognised as easily even with his helmet off. But then, perhaps, during the jo9 arc. Zane makes him dye it black. My reasoning for this is that black hair dye is a horror to get rid of in blonde hair. Just like how the guilt of the betrayal would stay and be hard to get rid off too. It also allows us to make Garroth be the one that dressed up as Zane instead of Aphmau(like how it should've happened. She is many shades more tan and has an entirely different eyecolour than him.)

Tldr: Consider getting more funky with this man's hair. I think it could be fun.

I think we should write more crossover fics between Aphverses. And I don't mean just MCD and MyStreet, those are easy. I mean have a character from My Inner Demons show up in the Nether. Have someone from MyStreet end up in the Void Paradox timeline and recognizing MCD Laurance but like he's not their Laurance, and this Aphmau isn't theirs either. Fish Donna ends up in Mermaid Tales.

Garroth and Laurance make me think in a way I just love.

They compliment eachother so well because of their similar morals, and their complete opposite upbringings, and the way they got there.

Garroth had money, status, access to resources... But he didn't have anyone he could really talk to. No real friends, he couldn't confide in his parents, and his brothers didn't have much to do with him.

Family was the one thing he didn't have. And that's why he treasures it so much.

Laurance grew up in poverty. His father technically had status, but they were in such a small village it didn't really matter. He grew up pinching every penny, and working hard for every single one. But he had his adoptive father, and Cadenza. People he loved unconditionally, who he could always count on.
