The Fate of Clobberfest
So to get 3 simple things out of the way.
Why am I concluding this poll?
What am I going to do afterwards?
What will I do with this blog?
Starting with 1. I had two reasons to stop this poll. The first of which being, my mental health.
Ever since I started this blog my mental state has just been on a decline that has gradually gotten steeper and steeper and worse and worse. I’ve been having really bad depressive episodes along with just… general shitty stuff. I don’t want to get too personal, but there ya go.
The second reason is due to the hate I kept receiving anonymously. It was bound to happen, I just wish it didn’t keep coming every time I didn’t entertain it. I’d delete these asks and then new ones would show up.
I know it was probably just me pussying out over fucking tumblr anons, but given my mental health at the time (and still currently)… I wasn’t going to entertain it for a second.
2. What am I going to do afterwards?
Well, I am running @let-them-fight , so that’s probably something. 😁
3. What am I going to do with this blog?
I’m not gonna delete it, and I’m still probably going to use it in some way or another. I might even rework it and make an entirely different tournament out of this blog in the future… in the future, that is.
So until that happens.

I never said why but it was basically just a combination of my seriously declining mental health plus some of the awful hate I was receiving anonymously.

• This woman was one who was waiting for her husband to come back from war. Her home was full of men who refused to leave, so she did the only thing in her power as a Greek woman and told them: "If my husband Odysseus doesn't come home from the Trojan war by the time I finish this blanket, I'll marry one of you." And she used TRICKERY which was LOOKED FONDLY UPON and was HEAVILY USED BY BOTH ATHENA AND HERMES. This woman called upon the power of Athena and Hermes to keep her marriage sacred which was SUPER important if someone didn't want to piss off Hera.
When she was setting up the trial, she did something only her HUSBAND could do with the 20 pound bow and commanded the fools to string it.
She's so full of tricks that I love her for it.
