Yeah, I saw some crossover fic on AO3. I am into unhealthy dynamics, dubcon, manipulation, generational trauma, angst, suspense, drama, age gaps for fiction/media/fandom. Mary & George definitely delivered on that. Also what I actually like about royalty stuff/rich people stuff is how it automatically sets up this premise for unhealthy and toxic, angsty ending power dynamics/class dynamics especially inverted power dynamics like Mary & George, some Succession ships, some asoiaf ships, The Favorite. I don't really vibe with the rich/powerful/hot protagonist as a kink. My media favs are just toxic messes who are pretty much social misfits and they are really kind of doomed to lose out on the good stuff in life because of personal choices/bad circumstances. Red, White and Royal Blue not my thing for those reasons. My thing is dirtybadhotwrong stuff in media and healthy stuff in life outside media :D

Of course really happy we are getting more queer shows/movies in mainstream media. That's a great thing. Something for everybody <3
