Back home after another run of shows with Illuminte Me and the first Spider Inside Her show. Happy to call these people some of my closest friends. Thanks to @kyleconvicted for the amazing photos! For this run of shows I finally put together a proper pedalboard, swapped the HM-2 for the Big Muff, swapped the PilyTune for an TU-2, and added a DM-2. Running out of the splitter into the SVT and Orange rigs. Couple of rigs from this weekend. Sunday morning was a fairly typical setup for me with some minor tweaks. Swapped the pickups in the Tele for a set of Fender Pure Vintage '64's and added some Wilkinson compensated brass saddles. Also been experimenting with some different mics. Used a 545SD on the AC30 and an MD421 on the Champ and it sounded massive. Bass rig from @illuminatemeband rehearsal on Saturday consisted of my 68' Bassman into a 2x15 with a pair of JBL D140F's. First show on bass with @illuminatemeband was a success! Feels good to have an excuse to take the bass rig out of the studio for once, although I still hate moving it. Still absolutely in love with my @fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass. Used the opportunity to re-build the bass pedalboard too. Pretty straightforward with the HM-2, Rat, and Sansamp all in the loop of the NS-2. Wired with the Boss solderless cables and the Lava solderless DC power cables. Thankful to all the other bands who played, everyone at @theslamhousefl for putting on this show, and most of all to @_crimmie_ for asking me to be a part of this band with him. Spent the past few days up in Boston for my cousin Maggie's wedding. Got to re-unite with all the cousins for the first time in years and was able to make time to visit Salem and Boston.
