oh, god, yeah. picking a place to vacation or go to for a holiday is never easy. there are so many beautiful and lovely places to choose from that it can be a little bit overwhelming at times. well, somewhere exotic is always nice and if you want exotic and a place where you wont get noticed, i ave a few options in mind, my friend! samoa, tonga and jeju island in south korea are all beautiful! and the locals are all super nice, they don’t care about status, they treat you like family on those islands. i have always enjoyed jeju island when i’ve gone and i’ve been to samoa once for a week vacation. the waters are so clear, you’ll never want to leave. it’s nice to meet you, bill! i’m hyunjin. i wouldn’t be so sure about that last part, though! 

That's why I am having such a hard time, because there are so many gorgeous places in the world and it's hard to choose one. There are a lot of places I know that would offer me the peace I'm seeking as well as the views I'm looking for. Thank you for the suggestions because they're some places I've never been to before. I've only ever been to Jeju Island, but I like the idea of checking out Somoa or Tonga. It really appeals to me when I can go to a place where no one pays much attention to me. I know it's hard for me to blend in with the crowd, but the more I'm able to do that, the better. You're really selling me on Somoa, so I thank you for that, Hyunjin. It's nice meeting you too, and you're not sure that I'm not special?

it sounds like you need a vacation! they’re definitely important when it comes to your own health and mental health. you need some down time to avoid burn out. that can be tough to come across in this business. you’re right though, deciding where to go and then actually booking all of the travel plans are sometimes the hardest part. a cabin somewhere more remote could be nice though. maybe somewhere near a lake or something? then you at least get some of that being near the water feel which to me always feels vacation-like! nice to meet you bill. im sydney and we’re all special!

You're not wrong about that. I very much need a holiday and I should probably focus more on my health and mental health more often. As I've been working a lot, I can tell I'm close to the burned out level and that's why I really want to go away for a little bit. I guess I am leaning more toward the cabin in a remote area over anything. But I've had some great suggestions and that's just making choosing all the harder. Though I like the way you think because I really do enjoy being on the lake, now, it's just picking where. It's very nice meeting you as well Sydney, and you're right, we're all special.

I’d say it depends what you like doing and find most relaxing, though I’m assuming with work just on the horizon, you don’t want anything that’s going to completely zap your energy before you start filming! I’d maybe recommend a fun cruise for the best of both worlds since that’s the holiday my wife and I took before going back to work myself, and you can have both beach days and sightseeing days with that if you choose one that fits. But I also can’t say a cabin in the woods and just being in nature for a little while doesn’t sound lovely as well. I’m George, it’s nice to meet you!

You're very right that I don't want to do anything that's going to completely zap my energy, especially with the project that I'm going to be filming. I'll be needing all my energy for that. What I've struggled with is choosing from the list of things I find relaxing since I have a few. A cruise though? I've never been on one of those before and that does sound interesting. Where did you and your wife go on the cruise? I do like to sightsee and also enjoy if they have more things lean towards nature. That's exactly why I like a cabin in the woods, because you're in nature and because usually you're left alone while you're in there and have a lot of peace. It's nice meeting you George. I've seen some of your work and am a fan. Peter Pan and Marrowbone in fact, which you did great in both.

i think when it comes down to choosing vacations, if you’ve a huge list – you just have to sit and think about where you want to really go the most. like, what would make you the happiest? or if you’re looking for something really calm – what would give you the most peace. though i’ll admit that all your suggestions, aside from the random mention of ohio – would all be pretty peaceful to me. as for suggestions, my favorite place to vacation is either to the isle of skye or anywhere that involves disney. since disney isn’t really going to give you the peace you’re probably seeking – you should look into the isle of skye! it’s super relaxing there, people leave you be and you can just enjoy yourself. hope that helps! and it’s nice meeting you, bill; i’m lily-rose and saddled with that whole pretty famous family thing as well.

I found that the problem I have is that I have too many places on the list and it's very hard to choose because I have so many. I've been going back and forth on what would make me the most calm, though, and I'm still a little unsure. I mostly tossed Ohio out there because, oddly, that was the one state that popped into my head? I have never been to the Isle of Skye but I have heard great things about it. Is there a place that you enjoy staying at while you're there? I can't say I'm much of a Disney person and I feel like I'd stick out like a sore thumb there. It helps a lot with the Isle of Skye suggestion and I do like that people leave you be. I might have to look into that. Should I be a little wounded that you don't remember meeting me, Lily-Rose? Since our fathers worked together and I was on set a few times that you were.

I love travelling and I love figuring out where to go. Usually I’m drawn to places where the ocean and a beach are close by. That’s always my favorite. Though some city vacations can be really great too. Bequia Island is one of my all time faves though, as well as Hawaii. Though Bequia is defo more lowkey. Hey Bill, I’m Laura! I do not have a famous a family though. 

Bequia Island? I don't think I've ever heard of that, and I like that since it's rare that I get to close places that I've never even heard of before. Is there a place that you like to stay while you're there that you can recommend? Because if that's more lowkey than I feel, that's right, like what I'm thinking of. It's very nice to meet you Laura, and I always think people are lucky when they don't have a famous family.

i’ve always had a hard time picking on where i want to go on vacation as well – especially since there’s always so many amazing places that i want to visit. you can do what my parents do? they just put a bunch of places they want to visit down on a piece of paper – then close their eyes, and whatever place they point to while they have their eyes closed. that’s where they end up going. though as someone who loves the beach, i’m going to suggest the seychelles or the caribbean because that’s usually where i’m happiest. though i’ll admit that i get the vibe from you that you’re more of a cabin in the woods in norway kind of guy? but also have me wondering where you would visit in ohio – if that’s where you decided to go? it’s lovely to meet you though, bill, i’m danielle and no one in my family is famous, not even me. though i’m sure you’re plenty special – especially if you’re talented enough to be working non-stop.

That's what problem I am having right now because there are a lot of great options and it's a bit hard to choose just one. What your parents do is a very smart idea and I might give that a try. Maybe I can ask one of my brothers to help me with that. You're not wrong about that vibe. I'm someone that would much rather be in a cabin in the woods than on a beach. It's not that I don't like the beach, but I like the solitude a cabin in the woods brings a whole lot more. But maybe I should be a little adventurous and do something I wouldn't normally do? Maybe pick the Seychelles. Do you have a favorite place to stay? I have no clue where I would visit in Ohio as I don't really know many places in Ohio. But they've got a lake there, right? I'm going to call you out on your lie of not being famous since I've seen your show The Originals and know that you're one of the more popular characters on there. I guess I do alright in the talent department, that they keep me booked with projects, but I don't think I'm as great as my father or brothers.

It’s always best to take a break from working before getting back into it. Your body knows you’re mentally exhausted and really don’t feel like going back to work. I hope that you’re holiday is amazing, babe. All those places you named sound gorgeous and beautiful. A perfect spot to relax and what not. Honestly if I were to go on vacation, I would love to go back to Mexico. My cousin just got married in Cancun and it was gorgeous there. I love anywhere that has a beach and some gnarly waves. A lot of the time I think it depends on the project before I decide if I'm going to take a bit of a holiday before working. I know The Crow is going to be a lot of work and I want to make sure I'm at my best if that makes sense.  It's been a while since I've been to Mexico, but that isn't a bad idea. And I've been to the Dominican Republic as well, but that's another one that's been a while. See, I'm back to the problem at hand because that's a lot of great choices and I'm still struggling to decide. I want to leave by Friday so I better come up with something, I guess. I think it would be super funny if you ended up somewhere random where you could blend in. That way when local people say you look like that one guy, you can just say that you don’t see it. I do it all the time. I mean I would disagree with you, but your dad was in Mamma Mia, so. That’s kinda hard to compare to.

I do like the idea of picking somewhere very random where I can blend in. But I'm also not sure how well I can blend in some places? My height is what tends to give me away, and so does my accent. Maybe I will pick some random place in the states and hope for the best. I feel like this will disappoint you as I normally watch most things my father is in, but I've never seen Mamma Mia.

Since I'll be called to set soon, I can't stay too long, so I wasn't thinking much past a week, maybe two weeks, if I can chance it. Whereabouts is your family's place in Ireland? That's very nice of you to say that I'd be able to stay there for free, since we've never met, even if you are a fan of my dad's work. I thank you for the compliment and I'm glad to know that I've reached all the way to Korea, and it means a lot to me to have such fans. We've all had moments of being fanboys have we not? I know I was slightly one while working with Keanu Reeves and hopefully I did not embarrass myself too much. Somewhere remote is very much more to my liking and that's what I'll end up doing. I am just not sure what direction I want to go with going remote, if that makes sense?

As I feel like I've been working non-stop and I've not really had the time to slow down and enjoy things, I've decided that before I start filming The Crow I'm going to take a holiday. The hardest part about a holiday I've come to find, is picking where it is I want to go. That's more stressful than the working non-stop that I've been doing. Do I want somewhere exotic, like maybe the Caribbean? Or the Seychelles? Do I want somewhere rustic, like maybe a cabin in the woods in the middle of Norway? Or do I want somewhere off the beaten path and where I am less likely to get noticed? Which I tell myself will be some random spot in the states, like in Ohio. If anyone would like to help me, I'm open to suggestions. And the best suggestions are when they're places you've been to and have enjoyed. Bill says thank you in advanced and I'm Bill, by the way, my family is pretty famous, but I'm no one special.
