Redemption arc...yeah that fits Claire to a T. She's a Garlean, even without doing anything most people are gonna be wary/afraid of her given everything the Empire has done to just about every corner of the star. And in her eyes, she'd deserve it. For being complacent in the Empire's wrongdoings for so long, until it affected her personally. The deaths of her two closest friends, who were killed because they were Ala Mhigan "Savages" dodging being drafted into the Empire's military. That's the day Claire bas Syndris died, and the day Claire Ashe took her place to try and set things right. In their honor.

Claire wouldn't know how to ride a bike, the area around where she lived as a child wasn't the most bicycle friendly. This late into her life she'd just consider learning a waste of time, not mentioning her paranoia over being embarrassed by failing to ride it as an adult.

Claire is a phenomenal chef. Before leaving Ala Mhigo for Eorzea she was one of the assistant cooks in her mother's restaurant, and in many ways more talented in that field than her mother.
Her dishes are either Ala Mhigan traditional meals or Garlean recipes adapted for the ingredients found in Ala Mhigo. Though recently she has been expanding her repertoire of ingredients thanks to the constant travels aboard The Enduring Deeds.
