Wolfstar shippers use every tiny detail to prove that Wolfstar is canon. In doing so, they ignore the huge signs that Sirius actually loved James.

Well, it's not Sirius looking at Remus, it's Remus looking at Sirius while he's arguing with Molly. I don't know how this proves Wolfstar is canon. The reasons Remus might be looking at Sirius are many. Maybe Sirius is especially handsome when he's angry and Remus likes that :D or maybe Remus is just thinking about what to say in this situation, etc etc etc

Wolfstar is not canon. Even Prongsfoot is not canon. Canon is Sirius's love for James, which Sirius himself didn't see as romantic.

I wanted to share this in my Facebook but i decided not to, not ready to share my truth there with all my family probably commenting. I don’t often share my thoughts here but I feel like this is something that a lot of people will resonate with. To give context, I am doing a lot of self work which is a journey I have started back in 2020 and honestly it has been a wild ride since then. There was a lot of resistance from my past self. Healing traumas and breaking past beliefs was very grueling and honestly tiring. There were a lot of issues that came up for me during this time. As a Christian, there’s this resistance in me that I shouldn’t even be doing this. I didn’t have to confront all this pain and thoughts, I just have to surrender it to God right? That’s fate right? See, this is where it gets complicated in my head and where some of my resistance stems from. But yes, that is for another day and just to give you context why deservingness is a word that I am focusing on for my devotion today.

We often feel that we need to work so hard for something before we become deserving of something good. Maybe because we were brought up that way or we were just used to being told “you have to do A before you get B”. That’s why there’s a lot of memes circulating that makes fun of people who always say “deserve ko ‘to” even though they haven’t really done a lot to deserve it (or so society says). But where did that kind of thinking even came from? Is everything really that transactional? If we apply the same concept to our faith for example, do we think we are deserving of God’s forgiveness? That’s where penance comes in right? That’s why catholics usually have a list of things they have to do after confessing their sins. But when you really think about it, no, you will never be deserving of God’s forgiveness or whatever it is you’re wanting out of life just because you did something. We were forgiven by God because He is graceful. The scripture said just come to Him if you’re tired and He will give you rest. It doesn’t say you deserve it that’s why God is giving rest to you, it says that because God loves us and He wants to give that to us we didn’t even have to do any heavy labor, just come to Him. 

The same thing applies to other things in life. When you want something you cannot wait for you to be deserving of it because then that might be years away from today or that time might never come at all. A friend of mine reminded me of this yesterday. If you still think you should be deserving first of something you want so you wait before you ask for it, then go ask for it already then work on being deserving of it at the same time. Life is too short to be pondering on how much we deserve things that will make us happy. Just ask for it and then make sure you will do everything in your ability to be actually be deserving of that goodness in your life.

One of the most annoying thing to happen to the marauders fandom is all the young dudes fic becoming extremely popular and everyone using it as canon material and not even reading the books or even watching the movies and only going by that fic. It's become so infectious, and inescapable. Like at this point the popular depiction of Remus and Sirius are so fanon. It's wild and wholly unenjoyable.

This is my opinion, skip if this doesn't vibe with you. But I'm allowed to complain.
