I had some thoughts on Gen IX parallel Gen V remakes.
They could absolutely retcon Genesect to be a future paradox and introduce its proper revived form. They could then add its ancient form as a Past Paradox. Unova is divided, as it showcased past and futuristic themes as version counterparts. Both the past/future groups oppose eachother in the new games, to the point of aggression with two evil teams. Team Past team seeks the resurrection of the original dragon in its true form to stop the war. Team Future seeks to recreate the original dragon with Technology. Of course they'd be called Black 3 and White 3: a continuation of the story as per gen V thematics.
Unlike the uninspired Gen IV remakes, that lacked their counterpart's gimmick, they'd embrace Terastalization (also, it seems more portable than gigantimax). This also works with Gen V, as it introduced Gems for types. Perhaps a researcher from Paldea found a way to harness the gem's power for Terra Orbs. Since Pokémon company seems to want to ditch the gems except normal though, we can say they were "Mined dry, with barely any remaining." Special Terra Orbs (inspired by the Black and White orbs) add the power of the original Dragon to Zekrom or Reshiram, imperfectly. This replaces DNA splicers.
In the end, we meet the past and future Kyurem respectively: like "Roaring King" and "Iron Salvation" or something.

Diaboleed
(Diablo or diabolical + Leed aka Leed's Devil and Lead as it's a first stage pokemon)
Dark type
Diaboleed resembles a tiny
Pokédex #1
When it's young, Diaboleed plots how to steal food from its siblings. Only the best fed can evolve in the wild.
Pokédex #2
Legend has it that 13 eggs were found in the Barren Wastes. A trainer hatched 12 documented, native Pokémon, but the 13th hatched Diaboleed, which attacked them and fled shrieking into the night.
Diabarron (Diablo / diabolical + Baron like nobility and sounding like Barren after the Pine Barrens)1
Dark / Dragon type
Pokédex #1
It is surprisingly light, allowing its tiny wings to carry it long distances. Despite this, it is still sturdy enough to shrug off even cannon fire.
Pokédex #2
It is unknown how long Diabarron has dwelt in this region. Most sightings are relatively recent, but Pokémon matching its description allegedly abducted Wooloo from a farm 300 years ago.
Ability: Fearful Scream
When this Pokémon enters battle, opponent's atk or sp atk are lowered (whichever is higher)
If you know the Jersey Devil, you have a general idea of what they look like. Some more rounded details on Diaboleed, which sharpen on Diabarron. It has kind of an evil horse head, hooves, and clawed front legs. A tiny mohawk-like growth on Diaboleed's neck becomes a tattered, oily looking mane that has slumped over Diabarron's neck. Despite a dragon feel, no grand wings. It's wings are downright puny akin to dragonite's. It is slim, slightly bony, and and very light.

Time for a take on a convergent Pokémon, like Wiglett from Scarlet and Violet. Today, we take a look at a Pokémon reminiscent of the Skrelp line
Tumblr media
The similar species of Skwyrm and Dratritus evolved in areas with large forests and a perpetual cover of leaf litter on the forest floor.
Skwyrm is a tiny little worm-like Pokémon that camouflages using dead leaves adhered to its body with a sticky slime, and has no fins like it's familiar lookalike's. It wiggles around the forest floor, happily crunching on leaves and leaving behind rich soil. Unlike Skrelp and Dragalge, who are bane to boat and fisherman of Kalos alike due to their poison, Skwyrm is a harmless (if earthy smelling) pure grass type popular with farmers. It, like it's evolution, are known as the Compost Pokemon.
When Skwyrm evolves into Dratritus, it gains the dragon typing and no longer hides in the leaves. This Pokémon only hunkers down under the warm, decaying piles of leaves in the winter when its young are born. It has large, showy fins of leaf piles it renews yearly. They make it resemble a leaf pile when sleeping. Kalos children visiting Dratritus's home region are scared when they accidentally jump on this seemingly familiar Pokémon, but it is good natured and calm (again, if a little smelly!).
If Dratritus or Skwyrm are hit by a super effective attack, their ability Compost kicks in. Just once per battle, they convert their decaying, leafy bodies into power in the form of a boost to their speed and special attack stats.

Pokémon Idea: Literal Coral Snake Pokémon
Reeftile is a poison/water type that evolves into the poison/rock type Coralsion at Lv. 25+ with a Corsola in your party.
Reeftile resembles a coral snake, with a "beard" made of coral stalks and brightly colored spikes of coral growing from its brightly colored bands. It has either the Swift Swim ability, or the Hidden ability Corrosion.
Reeftile Pokédex Entry #1
This Pokémon feeds on aquatic Pokémon by pumping poison directly into the water. The stunned prey is easily devoured.
Reeftile Pokédex Entry #2
The coral on its body is resistant to the toxins it emits regularly, and is of particular interest to ecologists. Some of the nutrients filtered while it swims are shared with Reeftile in exchange for travel.
Coralsion
Coralsion resembles a large, rocky coral snake that resembles an ordinary reef when cooked up. There is much more coral than the buds Reeftile had. It gains a signature ability in Waterlogged. Due to its aquatic nature, it no longer affected by water moves and actually gets a defense boost in the rain. This is, in fact, a very Defense oriented pokemon due to its new sedentary ambush method of hunting. Still, it can fight dangerously with Shell Smash if it needs to.
Coralsion Pokédex Entry #1
It seldom moves after evolution, preferring to hide in its heavy coral plating and strike prey by surprise. When it dies, a beautiful, toxin-resistant reef remains and provides a home to water pokemon.
Coralsion Pokédex Entry #2
It does not eat Corsola, but will attack it to chip off new coral to add to its armor. It attaches coral polyps to young Reeftile as soon as they hatch.
