im very happy to live in a time where the internet and such is a thing, however i think i would be able to make & maintain friendships much better if we all started writing letters again
(I’ve only watched the first half of the first episode bit I’ve already fallen in love with these guys)
What?
Me?
Seriously?
Haha imagine me falling for another Gaiman trap excelling at portraying insanely nuanced and diverse characters experiencing so many forms of relationships, a heck ton of trauma, hugs and loyalty, and that has an episode to episode as well as an overarching plot, both captivating and thought through, hella cool visual effects, an aesthetic that is just *mwah* aaand is part of the spectacularly crafted Sandman universe?
Ough how is this so accurate? I nearly cried.... maybe im just emotional rn idk
Pulsar
A pulsar (from pulsating radio source) is a highly magnetized rotating neutron star that emits beams of electromagnetic radiation out of its magnetic poles. Born from the fiery collapse of a massive star, a pulsar spins with extreme speed, emitting beams of radiation that sweep across the cosmos. your presence shines brightly, just like your emotions, pulsating with energy and vitality that draws others near. in your centre there lies a hidden complexity, a swirling vortex of emotions and experiences that mirror the depths of space. sometimes you feel your emotions so strongly that you can't help but let it drip out of you. just because you're the remainder of a star that's reached the end its life this doesn't mean you have to explode. at some point you have to stop being so angry, so sad, you need to move on and start being gentle with yourself. let it go, but don't let parts of yourself go in the process. healing takes time, don't try to speed it up by throwing everything you think is wrong with yourself away with the bad memories. you have all the time in the world to heal and rest. you're a bright miasma of light and love, you're so full of life, you just have to let it bloom. open a window and breathe

I could take the how to train your dragon books like 30% more seriously if the characters had normal names but no the writer of the books that fundamentally shaped my values and defined my childhood named her characters stuff like Fishlegs. Squidface the Terrible. Snotface Snotlout. Chucklehead. Literally Hiccup
Ginger is the bestest, so sweet, and so playful even in her old age. She loves to lie in the sun and just wants to be a good dog and have a run in the woods and a nap afterwards. She is extremely strong for her size, and her favorite toy is my dad's old jeans.
Her little ears bounce up and down on walks, I don't have any good videos of it because I can never bring myself to take a video instead of watching.
And she absolutely loves meeting people--if you are ever having a bad day, just know that she would be SO excited to meet you and she would love you immediately.
Note: I am by no means a professional in health or otherwise. This is personal experience. I made this as a metaphor to help my parents understand me better.

when I was very young and before I had any idea of what fanfiction was, my brother and I wrote an original my little pony story for our younger sister’s eighth birthday
we even commissioned a colored pencil drawing from our friend for the cover
I have a question for both of you - Neil Gaiman said it was probably okay for an 11 yr old, but i checked the imdb and it seems quite graphic? Where would you place it on the below scale? (tw for blood and gore mention)
1 - merlin. skeletons, many people dying in mostly non-graphic ways
2 - good omens. lots of blood, some gross scenes (maggots and zombies etc)
3 - graphic crime show. intense blood, quite graphic wounds, lots of dead bodies.
4- our flag means death (this is the most intense gore ive ever seen, i wont watch anything with more than this)
5 - anything more, like prolonged graphic removal of limbs, dismemberment etc
I REALLY WANT TO WATCH IT BECAUSE NIEL GAIMAN AND YOUR CONVERSATION HERE MADE IT SEEM EVEN MORE AMAZING BUT AGRHSJJE I CANT DEAL WITH TOO MUCH GORE AND VIOLNECE........
A fellow dead boys detectives enthousiast?
