I found this today in my passport while searching some of the computer illustrations for my friend... 5 years before in vacation under the guidance of my father this was the first graphic portrait I made... (I give complete credits to him because I really learnt a lot while drawing this.. I came to know it's not that easy to make graphic illustrations that actually seems to be) There were plenty of mistakes and those has been corrected by my father and he used in one of his illustrations for Taranga weekly magazine... ◾For the first time in the history of ISRO two women will head the Chandrayaan 2 mission. Ritu Kridhai ( Mission director) & M Vanitha (Project Director).

◾Chandrayaan 2 is the India's second lunar exploration mission after Chandrayaan 1

Objectives:

◾Quantify the water available on the moon's surface.

◾Map it's topography, to explore chemicals and minerals such as magnesium, iron and helium.

◾Study top most part of lunar atmosphere

Significance:

◾ Global power: If successful India will be the fourth country after Russia, China, USA to land a rover on the moon.

◾India will be the first country to land on the southern pole of the moon.

◾ This would give ISRO opportunity to name that site on the moon.

◾ Indigenous mission: 13 instruments from India. 1 from US space agency: NASA.

◾ Future space exploration: Mission will also expand the countries foot print in space as moon is the project test-bed for proving technologies required for future space exploration.
