MH = STA Mirror?

Slender the Arrival does seem to be an almost mirror verse to Marble Hornets. Each part of the ‘Slender!verse’, each in their own little reality bubble, separate from other things. But you could see STA is MH is instead of the operator it was Slenderman. This also can make some sense since the creators of Marble Hornets wrote Slender the Arrival.

Now. Don’t mind my rambling... This is just a random theory I have or noticed.

Let’s first look at the characters:

Very briefly. The Operator is the more violent of the two but he doesn't use proxies, he also doesn't have tentacles or has an interest in in kidnapping kids. He is happier than Slender to pull people into his ‘dimension’, via [physical means or making them sleep walk there. We have no clue why he does this but that is part of the danger to it. While cause sickness the Operator seem to more potent. The Operator appears to be more interested in driving people insane and into murderous rages but Slenderman will happily kill people himself even, or especially children.

With Lauren and Jay the comparison is very simple. They are both the protagonist just out to find and help their friend. Their innocent in the whole scheme of things, documenting the event as they go along and are learning more from notes tapes/vhs as well as exploring. Also sadly they both meet the same fate as each other, at the hand of the friend they are looking for.

CR is very much like Brian. He’s best friends with Kate, seems to be very kind, caring, and intelligent but also does seem to have a manipulative side. He is actively trying to find a way to stop the antagonist which at the end leads to his death (which for him was suicide). While Brian ended up sending video for Jay and Tim to see, CR ended up writing manically on the walls in graffiti. Also not that he does have one thing in common with Tim, he seems to have a on-going health condition and is activity taking medication. (But Brian takes med’s too)

Kate is an odd mix of Tim and Alex. She has been stalked from childhood and is the reason the others are being stalked, she was driven to try and express herself via drawing (while Alex drew the operator symbol, circle with a cross to represent his no face, Kate drew a circle with two crosses to represent his no eyes). She is also the one to survive out of all of them. Oh and Like Tim only the mother is mentioned, and she looses her best friends. Unlike Tim for Kate everything is far from fine at the end.

Dates

One of the video in Marble Hornets is Alex's birthday in 1991. I believe this could be also Charlie Jr birth year as it seems to add up with all other information which related to his age.

Marble Hornets started in 2009. In Arrival Beth dies that year - Both start the downfall of all in each story

Season 3 of Marble Hornets starts and it seems about that same time Kate and CR go quiet. Then when Tim and Jay go into hiding in March 2013, CR finds Kate in the woods and that join forces together and become active again while the other go more quiet.

Going off the theory that Arrival happens in autumn 2013, this lines up with the event that happens in Benedict hall - causing both Jay and Lauren to mirror each other

::Extras:: Letter ‘?’ - This was the letter wrote after Charlie Matheson Senior killed himself in a house fire. It looks like the date could be around 2009 going off newpaper article Letter ‘Star’ - This would could be after ‘?’ sure to the excitement seems to be fading, still can see this being around 2010ish, maybe?

CHARLIE SENIOR AND JUNIOR

Going off the results above and newspaper articles.

A new paper saying that 6 new building were going to be build in the spring of next year could be a paper from the year the arrival is happening 2013. This would make sense as they are preparing to build the houses. In this paper it said the house fire that killed Charlie Senior was 4 years back. So it would of been 2009.

Charlie Senior mentioned in one of his note before he committed suicide that Charlie Junior has been missing for 9 years, so it would of been around 2000 he was taken.

The average age men have children are 30, so if he say that was the case here. in 2000 Charlie Sr would of been around 38′ish, so Charlie Jr would of been 8, so Charlie Jr Birthday could be about 1992/1991. I'm tempted to side with 1991, as that is a special date used in Marble Hornets.

So even thought Charlie Jr is trapped as a kid (8 year old) if he was alive he would of been around 22 years old during the time of arrival.

Also since we know Charlie Sr was 47 when he died and if we do see him dying in 2009, then we know he was born around 1962

Kate, CR and Lauren

Since there isn't anything to really go on, the main thing I can see going off is using the Marble Hornets guys estimated ages as they do seem to fit their age range. With going off, living on their own, most likely college, university etc. Kate does go back to living with her mum of course.

So the during arrival the group could of been around the age of 25 - 29. Sadly so far have seen nothing to help narrow this down. I do think it is more close to 25′ish

Frieda and the Homestead

We don’t have much to go on (Like we don’t know when Frieda moved from Germany, got married etc), but it seem that it was 1905 that Frieda summoned Slender to her home and in which he took Walter and Patricia. It is also the year, if you look at the grave yard the majority of the household died. This is due to Frieda realising she had cursed her family decided to burn her family to save them and future generations. This failed as Franklin was missing the day of the ‘accident’ and he created the family tree for Charlie Sr and Jr. It seem’s a Hayes also survived, maybe they were already living away when the family photo was taken, as they created the family tree for Beth and Kate. It is possible that Charlie Jr and Kate where the final two of the cursed blood line. It does seem how Frieda also started the chain of suicides by fire.
