Από την στιγμή που επουλώνεις τις πληγές σου και μεγαλώνεις συναισθηματικά, παύεις να ρομαντικοποιείς το τοξικό. Σταματάς να ελκύεσαι από ανάρμοστες συμπεριφορές. Εκτιμάς την προσπάθεια, την επιμονή και την αμοιβαία επιθυμία. Όταν ένας άνθρωπος απομακρύνει την ενέργεια του από εσένα, δεν τρέχεις να του χορηγήσεις κι άλλη. Μαθαίνεις ότι οι πράξεις των ανθρώπων είναι προϊόν δικής τους βούλησης, δεν έχουν να κάνουν με εσένα. Αντιλαμβάνεσαι ότι η αγάπη που πιστεύεις δεν πονάει ποτέ. Είναι ήρεμη, έχει σεβασμό, έχει κατανόηση και ειρήνη μέσα της. Από την στιγμή που μαθαίνεις όλα αυτά, σταματάει να σε ελκύει ο,τι κάποτε σε πόνεσε.
