i think that an interesting fundamental misunderstanding that adrienette have about each other is that ultimately they BOTH view the other as a ‘damsel in distress’ of sorts. maribug viewing adrien in this way is obvious -> she’s a knight, he’s a princess in a tower, a prisoner strapped to a thorny beanstalk, someone she must save, someone who needs saving. with adrichat, it might not be as evident, but he’s also always very focused on getting her somewhere faraway and safe, which well, is obvious because to him she’s a civilian, BUT you have situations like the paris special where he gets very worried about whether marinette’s been placed somewhere far and away from danger, but barely even questions how and why alya’s been running through the streets of paris all night to help them fight superpowered villains

this also means they Don’t think the other is feeling weighed down by the burdens of superheroism, that when they look into each other’s eyes, they see a beacon of light, something to escape in. they think they’re with someone who has nothing to do with any of these superhero struggles. but none of it is true at all. they’re BOTH burdened by their heroic responsibilities, and they both need saving, and they’re both hurting so much in ways they can’t speak a word of. meaning they can’t comfort each other the way they need to and could and I think that is an impending tragedy in and of itself

he’s starting to develop feelings for marinette BUT he’s still in love with ladybug. he’s starting to question if any of it is really worth it tho bc being a superhero is so painful and hard. and then boom. evil him and evil ladybug are in love. from the start ladybug has talked day and night about how they can’t be together because they’re superheroes with secret identities. but THESE selfish bad versions of them ARE because they aren’t GOOD like them. this sends him the message that he is selfish and bad for loving her and wanting to be with her. then boom. crazy dream about marrying her and having babies together and living happily ever after. WANTING this nearly got THEM killed and after talking to ladybug about it after her fumbling because she was scared and getting told ‘it must just be a trick from monarch’ he realizes that this is JUST HIS desire, and it is DANGEROUS, and he will always be ALONE in his love for her, but more importantly being with her would be SELFISH of him. so he finally detaches thinking that this is the Good Correct thing to do because he’s been falling short all this time + it makes him overcorrect so hard that when ladybug started flirting with him he either didn’t realize or thought it was another ‘test’

how are we all feeling about it being confirmed that paris special takes place after 5x03 destruction and the fact that ladynoir watching their evil counterparts be in love likely contributed to their painfully romantic deep desires to be together

it’s so comforting to see ppl on here have genuine hope for ladynoir and finally feel like i’m not the only one. because i swear mlbtwt will literally flame u for having a different perspective that isn’t the stupid “adrinette is the true/final side of the lovesquare” and if you disagree apparently you’re the one who doesn’t understand that they’re the same ppl 💀

my opinion on ladynoir as they are in canon right now is that there ARE complicated feelings between them actually BUT the show did not exactly. portray this in an explicit manner. so that’s well. making everyone crazy. no matter what side ur on

like it just really is not that deep guys 😭😭😭 the way tv works esp w couples in messy situations is that they tend to break em up and get them back together again because its um. entertaining…? not to mention love square is in a completely unique situation where their main love rivals are EACH OTHERS ALTER EGOS which means ultimately we all Like The Same Couple. its just funny to see them get back together in funnier and more insane ways ❤️ u can dislike this as a story direction but other people finding it fun is not a crime

i recently RECENTLY started on tmgs 2 and it’s definitely, something! now i don’t mean that in a bad way i’ll explain it in a sec

so rn i’m going for shibaaaa since i’ve had an eye on him for some time x

anyways originally this gameplay was too see how the game is like since i don’t really see much content of it compared to the others and i wanted to see what’s up with it (at least from what i see on the wiki)

idk maybe it’s actually just i purposely didn’t care for it and it actually gets the same amount of love? idk buut

i find it underrated? even if it actually isn’t ig maybe in my criteria it is? anywho i’m having fun with it so far i like the accidental kiss plot n stuff

i think another reason i never looked too forward to the game is bc of the beachy sea side mermaid setting? idk i’m usually not a fan of that stuff but then again ig i judged too quickly 🤷🏻‍♀️

anywho on tokimeki news, i recently tried out tmgs3 and all i have to say is;

but srsly, don’t get me wrong tmgs1 is still great for nostalgia reasons but tmgs3 is just so 💗💗💗 i don’t WNAT to admit i have a favorite game but 😞

the downside though, with a gameplay so fun i don’t even feel like continuing in finishing other routes now 😭 yea sure i still have fun but others just don’t do much ☹️

idk maybe i’ll get the energy to continue some day… i’m just stuck on stupid hibiya who is so hard to please 😒
