We will not both die here.” Ā-Qìng fell silent as he pulled her into a hug, and after a second she squeezed him back. “This isn’t fair,” she murmured against his shoulder. “I’m sorry, Ā-Qìng.” Her Dàgē shifted, placing a kiss on her forehead. “I’m very happy to have known you.”

They do experience some small differences in height and build though between boy and girl mode (xy gets slightly shorter, he hates it)

Every time xue yang, xingchen and song lan get off together, they switch binary sex. The first time was a surprise.

Sòng Lán had had a terrible day, only made slightly less awful by the fact that when he returned to their room in the late afternoon, Xiǎo Xīngchén was sitting there waiting, apparently unharmed and no worse for the experience. He turned to the doorway when Sòng Lán entered, and gave a tired little smile, and Sòng Lán was already moving, lunging forwards to drop to his knees by Xīngchén’s side. “It’s okay. This is my dragon OC Redspirit. She was abandoned by her clan deep within a dangerous magical desert, and assumed dead. Instead her form twisted into something new, and she endured the harsh conditions and survived. Years later she returned to her clan and was unrecognisable to her peers. She has vowed to take her vengeance against them, but for now she will bide her time and infiltrate their higher ranks, waiting for the opportunity to strike against the leadership that abandoned her.

Banished to his cupboard at age 4, Harry learns to listen only to the Voice in his head. Its teachings warp all Harry could have become until no more than dark magic and devotion remains. Visions of a wraith with red eyes complicate matters, especially when Harry and the Voice follow it to Hogwarts so Master can get his hands on the Philosopher’s stone. Harry can do magic. He can’t do people.
