This honestly sounds like such a cool project and I'm sad I hadn't come across it sooner. Quick question, but are you accepting roles other than animators? Prop/background designers, shaders and lighting, etc.? :)

Otherwise, are you accepting newbie animators for, say, rough shots/guidance pics or are you strictly in search of final-shot animators?

Thank you! We have both animators and illustrators on the project. The way it generally works is someone who is accepted will claim a shot (a specific clip of the episode) to completely recreate themselves. Each shot will be stylistically different from the last because a different person made it. However, we do also allow for collaborative shots (ex. one person does the background, one person does the rough animation, another cleans it up, etc). So there aren’t really specific roles for the project unless you choose to do a collaborative shot, and the parts you would work on are up to you and the people you collaborate with. We welcome any newbie animators to send in an application! If accepted you can completely do your shot start to finish on your own, but if you do need assistance you’re more than welcome to collaborate with someone (just let us organizers know first!).  Hope this answered your question!

Here’s also the bg of the shot (looking spooky) The base was modeled in Blender, the textures and other details were done in Photoshop.

Well! Here's a preview of something pretty big I've been working on. This is actually finished, but not allowed to share it until the whole thing is released. I may have forgotten about this and it's kind of blown up on Twitter, but I was told to keep this uploaded since it is good publicity 😂

So @jerniebee started something called @cbbreanimated - a collaborative project to re-animate the Animaniacs cartoon "Chalkboard Bungle". Which is notorious for being hilariously written and acted, but very poorly animated. I have shot 87, and I am so honoured to be on board with this. Animating for Yakko has been A LOT of fun, and I geeked out over getting to animate for a Rob Paulsen role. I'm pretty proud of this, because not only is this my first DIGITAL animation, but is also my first time lip-syncing dialogue.
