Dragon Ball was one of the great fixtures of my childhood. Compared to just about every other "action"-labeled cartoon, none else had such fun designs and snappy fights, or let their characters get so messed up. Up until One Piece came along, Toriyama was my #1 artistic influence from the Eastern side of the globe (and to this day I remain jealous of the way he handles vehicles, houses and machines). Course, I'm only one among thousands upon thousands he was an inspiration for, professional and otherwise.
#RIP
Between the prototype versions of Mario Kart: Double Dash seen in kiosk demos and the finished version of the game, some animations were changed, though in relatively minor ways. The only instance of an animation being completely reworked is Bowser's 1st place victory celebration when not driving the kart.
Left: in the prototype, Bowser jumps back and forth gleefully.
Right: in the finished version, he cheers instead.
This was possibly changed due to the prototype animation being deemed to be unfitting of Bowser's personality, as he is not usually depicted as prone to jumping around when excited.
