BOMBAY ELECTRIC
We were lucky enough to stumble upon BOMBAY ELECTRIC when we were last in Mumbai. Situated in the heart of Colaba, South Mumbai, BOMBAY ELECTRIC is unlike anything else in India.
A high end boutique; it mixes old school with shiny new India, selling the likes of Manish Arora (my fave designer) to vintage Bollywood posters, music and illustrative art.
It was a massive breath of fresh air after 'slumming it' around the perimeter of the country, and gives Indian designers an amazing platform to showcase their work and put themselves on the map.
Big ups to Priya Kishore, the founder and a massive inspiration!
