Due to having to unexpectedly move by the end of the month I've marked down pretty much all my mixed media originals.
There's also a bunch of stuff i've got up for sale in my Etsy shop that's now 15% off (old photo props, vintage millinery, some vintage clothing I used for photos, probably about 50 yards of various kinds of fabric, frames, etc, etc)

Gal Pals, 2022. Another two layered print, top is vellum fully attached to the art paper print on the bottom. (I didn't mean for this to coincide with June, I just had extra paper leftover and an old image that's been sitting on my computer and has always made me think "that's not gay at all" and wanted to finally do something with it.)

Your purpose in life is not to love yourself but to love being yourself.
If you goal is to love yourself, then your focus is directed inward toward yourself, and you end up constantly watching yourself from the outside, disconnected, trying to summon the “correct” feelings towards yourself or fashion yourself into something you can approve of.
If your goal is to love being yourself, then your focus is directed outward towards life, on living and making decisions based on what brings you pleasure and fulfillment.
Be the subject, not the object. It doesn’t matter what you think of yourself. You are experiencing life. Life is not experiencing you.

Magnificent paintings from Spanish artist Ana Barriga.
Ana's representation, Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery, says of her work: "Barriga uses humor, playfulness and irony to allow unpredictable situations. Playfulness is very important both in her work and in her way of working. She takes children's toys, decorative objects or everyday objects which she paints, breaks, mutilates, assembles as if she was playing with them. She then erases, repopulates, modifies and even intervenes with spray as if it were a vandalism towards her own painting."
