He was nearly surprised by how quickly Pratt stopped upon his questioning. Wasn’t about to let that tiny crack in the wall show, though. For once, the question out of his mouth had actually been an honest one, not a lead-in to shut the little chatterbox up.

Eyeing him, noticing the growing tension - equal to the silence growing - Jacob finally broke it. Voice soft, yet still cutting like a knife.

“Never said you had to stop. Was just a question, Peaches.”

my queue is almost empty. my family is here visiting for the beginning part of this week. i’ve been just having A TIME(tm) with life recently and have forgotten to take my meds the past few days so it’s just been wild.
