It's insane how casually the calls to end a genocide, not just the students in Columbia University but pro Palestinian views in general, are labelled as terrorists. The audacity to still publicly support Israel's actions even after the horrific bombings these last months and then turn around to say that the ones who oppose it are violent anti semites is just baffling
Hi everyone, I wanted to boost these two GoFundMes from people looking to evacuate Gaza. Please help them in whatever way you can, donate what you can, because this is a matter of life and death. Reblog and please spread the word, please help them get their families to safety.
Each of them has only reached about $1000 of their goal, far from the $45,000 needed by Khaled and the $20,000 needed by Shareef.

(Please note: I am not Palestinian, both of these people reached out to me on Instagram to share or donate to their fundraisers. If any bloggers esp. Palestinian bloggers have verified these fundraisers or have an existing post to reblog for them, please let me know!)
When I made this post just ten days ago, it was about mass graves discovered at Al Shifa hospital and now we have learned that the same had happened at Nasser hospital in Gaza. The same genocidal pattern: a hospital is put under siege, patients and medical staff are abducted, tortured and buried in mass graves.
But to build on the last point I wanted to bring attention to in the previous post, it is very crucial to also keep in mind is that the Palestinian Civil Defence have reported that Israel had deliberately concealed the identities of those it killed and buried in these mass graves. Close to 400 bodies have been buried in these mass graves, 58% of the recovered bodies have not been identified.
In a press conference, a spokesperson of the civil defence in Gaza said that Israel had intentionally disfigured the bodies postmortem in order to remove any identifying markers such as birthmarks. He also mentioned that they suspect that the bodies have been placed in body bags that expedited the decomposition process, destroying any possibility of them being identified.
One of the main and only ways families have been able to identify the bodies of their loved ones is through the clothes they remember them wearing the last time they saw them. I saw a video of a mother identifying her son by his striped jacket. You can see the grief mixed with relief that she will be able to give her son proper burial.
Remember when months ago I said that to be identified and buried in Gaza has become a luxury? This is very much still the case.
Many Universities have started direct action towards “Free Palestine” following the footsteps of Colombia university.
The state of Israel has destroyed every single university in Gaza.
As a solidarity with all the people struggling to free Palestine, we are now starting a camp.
This bloodbath has gone on for far too long. At the start of this aggression, the school year had barely just started. The academic year ends in just a month. Everyone, from first graders to university seniors, have lost an entire year at least. I say at least considering even if there is a ceasefire today, Israel had destroyed literally all universities in Gaza and damaged over 400 schools. Lest we forget also Israel's deliberate targeting of university professors and academics.
You absolutely cannot mistake the intent behind all of this.
Another thing is that when this aggression started, we were so worried about winter and how displaced people in tents will survive it. Earlier this week the temperature in Gaza hit 38 degrees (100 Fahrenheit) and we are now wondering how will displaced people survive the heat in those tents.
This brave Palestinian journalist in Khan Younis shares his work with his dog which did not leave him during the hard times..
He says: “This dog starved and dehydrated when I starved and dehydrated due to the lack of food and water in #Gaza. So that, I feel its pain which is similar to my pain.”
