Even though Queen of Tears might not have the greatest writing for some, Baekhong love is just everything. I love seeing the trajectory of their love so much, from their dreamy fairytale dating era to marriage to falling out to rediscovering that love again. The way they would ride and die for one another and keep on falling for one another over and over again. Like I can’t even hate the tropes used because it just make their love feel so tremendous 😭❤️‍🩹 (and I’m so glad that Jiwon and Soohyun got casted for this because they definitely play a big part in making us feel that love)

I AGREE! like, the drama itself is pretty makjang and without baekhong idk if i would watch it, but whatever we get of baekhong is just???? so so so so SO life changing.

i feel like i'm truly watching a married couple and their challenges and they're both such good actors that it enhances the viewing experience tremendously. baekhong are just <3 one of the most special kdrama couples i have ever witnessed. they really give me the vibes and feels that i had watching kdramas in the early 2010s and i never thought i would feel that again but they did it! so so so thankful for soohyun and jiwon for taking these roles i can't see anyone else doing what they did.

if anything, i also hope baekhong starts a trend of more kdramas about married couples that don't involve cheating and affairs. just show me what couples go through with life! and how love perseveres!

I cannot believe I saw a comment with 20 likes under a tweet of the scene HW loses his mind when he thinks HI dies breaks a window with his bare hands and falls to his knees that says she loves him a lot more than he does. These people are just insane there's no other way around it literally what does this man have to give or sacrifice? They really need the male lead to be this perfect person who never makes a mistake and always acts like a wind up robot solely created to worship the female lead or he's not good enough. Y'all need to get some help I know a lot of men in the real world suck but this level of delusion is venturing into unprecedented territory.

best case scenario haein gets the surgery and is cured and loses her memories but as soon as she sees hyunwoo she’s like oh. who are you 😍 and he’s like um. i know this is a lot to process but we’re kinda married….and she’s like SHUT UP?? TELL ME MORE 😍😍 and she falls in love with him all over again and they live happily ever after

me reading the quotation on that photo spot that says "Love is how you stay alive, even after you are gone." like, AHHHHHHHHhhjfjkshaj!! it better not be a foreshadowing of some sort!! i can't deal with this drama anymore like i don't even know what's gonna happen anymore i'm scared but also like nah they can't not have a happy ending or i'm gonna kms ooof oof oof i love queen of tears so much i don't even know what i'm saying anymore😭😭😭

I SAW THAT TOO!!!! i feel like the drama keeps going back and forth with negative and positive foreshadowing, but yeah i'm also like very confused if she will lose those memories or not. i think it would be interesting if it's like a temporary loss and then she sees the mp3 player or her ring or the video hyunwoo made and she magically gains them back (it's a fictional drama like who cares the surgery doesn't even make sense tbh skldfjslk)! like her soul recognizes hyunwoo.

because the drama keeps saying how haein and hyunwoo are fate so there has to be a good ending........😭

Ahh how are you feeling after the recent QOT ep? I feel like everyone’s a little mad at the progression of the storyline but I’m actually eating it all up. They’re serving fluff and angst all at the same time and it hurt so good. I also find it fitting if the show decided to go with the amnesia plot (because the amount of times we have seen them fallen for one another and relearn/rebuild their relationship) what’s this one last hurdle, these two will fall for each other and get through anything thrown at them no matter what.

listen i love angst i have to admit that so i'm pretty happy! i felt like episode 13 was one of those "well we have event A that needs to happen but we can't show it yet so here is the episode" kind of episodes which isn't bad! fluffy simple watch ofc with the usual QOT makjang insanity and hyunwoo stressing.

i too find the amnesia plot an Interesting choice bc it really brings back the entire plot to the origin; hyunwoo wanted to be done with his marriage and escape, and now, fate is sort of giving him his original wish; haein might forget about him. the old hyunwoo would've gotten his wish but for this present-hyunwoo, it's breaking him - ultimate uno reverse! and for haein, who just wants her future so badly with hyunwoo, it's the worst possible tragedy; does she live limited time with her husband, or live forever not knowing who even she is?

i'm very sure that she will do the surgery at the end, but given how many tropes have been bypassed by this drama, i'm wondering if what everyone predicts (eunseong tricking her, her losing memories, remembering in the final scenes of episode 16) will happen or not. i'm intrigued!
