that's really funny how neil as a narrator and demisexual isn't so concern about other people appearance and bodies. he care only about andrew because minyard is the only person who neil actually wants.

but then you open “the sunshine court” and suddenly jean is so much of a bisexual mess. like, he find attractive so many boys and girls.

that's so awesome that we actually were given the information about how foxes look like by neil because he used to notice little details about people and their appearance because of his surviving way of life. and on the opposite, jean is actually doesn't care how people looks like (unless he found them attractive) but he worries about the way how his teammates “interact with each other and the hints of personalities he’d be dealing with”.

sometimes, i think about the possible situation where jokaste and kastor's child have to live in a court with damen and laurent.

and this kid will be so close to their “uncle damen” and the kings in general that they will start to call laurent “uncle” too.

and that is the moment when laurent snaps. he understands a role of the uncle in a normal family. but his own family was so dysfunctional, abnormal and wrong. he will be in the very dark place in his head because of this.

laurent is still afraid that he eventually become the person that hurted him. that he become the regent. someone who poisoned his life and traumatized him, because he truly believes that at some point of his life he will become “a product” of the toxic environment that the regent and the court made in arles.
