Itâs a sweet time for heavy snows & heavy submissions! Join us in our submission portal before it freezes like Niagara Falls in 1890! Weâve only had our submissions portal opened back up for a week and we are already half way to our cap! The spring asks for your voices . . . and your cover and interior art too!
Our latest issue â out to dry on the big release day!
On Friday October 19th we released the latest issue of @canvaslit. For five months @ninaealvarez and I worked extremely hard with 18 teen editors to build this book of beauty. The autumn issue features 44 teen writers and artists from the U.S., Canada, India, and Singapore, and is a perfect cold weather companion or sweet treat post- Halloween. Get yours in print from amazon or at canvasliteraryjournal.com.
We are also especially excited about the new Museum of Canvas - interviews and video capsule chats with the vibrant young artists who populate our pages. Swing over to our site to see what itâs all about, and feel free to talk to us via #welcomebackcanvas
Just had artwork selected for a feature by Canvas Literary Journal! I created a video about creative inspiration and my background in art for the site to accompany that print edition. #art #artist ââââââ #Repost @cosmographiabooks with @get_repost

One of my favorite things about the new @canvaslit is that editor-in-chief @helindsaya is curating interviews and video chats with our teen artists.
This is @alexandrabowmanart talking process, inspiration, and advice for unlocking creativity.

Canât stop wonât stop with the photos in the snow because Whistler is an absolute winter wonderland right now and weâre expecting 30 more cm of snow! âď¸âď¸âď¸.
.
I brought a very random book along on a dog walk through the snow shrouded woods so I could snap some photos and everything turned out ten times more magical than I could ever anticipate.
.
Are you a fan of the snow? I would take endless snow and our cabin tucked away in the woods over a tropical vacation any day! âď¸đ.
.
And check out two posts ago for details on how to win a $50 gift card! .

How does/would your character react to unwanted sexual advances?
Which does your character value more: loyalty or morality?

Does your character believe in ghosts? (Also, do ghosts actually exist in their world?)
Your character believes something that is at odds with what the rest of their family and/or friends believe. Do they talk about it with them? Â If so, how do they approach the subject?
What do you think is your characterâs best and worst trait? What do they think is their best and worst trait?
Is your character the type of person to correct someoneâs grammar when theyâre speaking? Conversely, how would they react to someone correcting their improper grammar?
How does your character feel about the concept of virginity? How does their culture feel about it?
