I'm torn between supporting the Wolfsburg for kicking out Chelski or hating them for kicking us out lol
I'm not hating them for what they did to Chelsea/Arsenal cause those were well-deserved wins but hating them a little for what they did to Bayern today (bc it was too painful ๐).
Lowkey supporting them in the UWCL going forward bc I want it to be a good match-up in the semis rather than just a walkover like it's been for Barca so far lol.

-tall iceland GK's first apppearance for bayern, thought she was pretty nervous which was expected but great that she got experience from this

Especially all the individual shoutouts and descriptions, they're so fun it actually cheered me up a lil after how down I've been feeling after this game... ๐
I think Bayern were simply lost and completely spent, both physically and mentally. It didn't seem like their heads were in the game from minute one, and even though the second half was a little improved, it never looked like they could truly rally to pull off any fightback that would threaten the Wob goal & Almuth enough.
I couldn't even really specify a particular player that was bad, it just seemed like the whole momentum of the Bayern team was carrying them downward whereas Wob was sailing, oozing confidence and ease whenever they came forward.
Sveindis was straight up bullying our defenders, and could've easily had a goal for herself had she gotten that tap-in right... but she has a big red bullseye on her back for teams to mark now that she put in two amazing performances in a row on the big stage. Obi celebrating her goal with so much energy even tho it was the 5th one just kinda made me laugh, I was already numb at that point ๐
Then Pajor scored the 6th and celebrated even harder and I was like oh well I might as well enjoy this moment with them now ๐
The league is beyond gone right now so I hope we kick your butts or at least mount a proper challenge in the Pokal, but I have no idea how we're gonna recover mentally/physically so soon :')

Viv got POTM and usually I'd agree but honestly she was not the best player today. Beth deserved it honestly. ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
I'd love to give my opinion but I literally only watched the first 30mins of our game and that was probably the most uneventful part ๐
Viv gets it for her higher goal contributions, not surprising I suppose. Heard that Keets had a superb sub appearance too so that's exciting, I'm happy for her ๐

Now that Iโm watching their league, you know the fouls Jonas was complaining about that should have been yellows? Those are just normal fouls in the bundesliga, the physicality level is crazy
Yeah, they literally bulldoze into each other and then pick themselves up like nothing happened lmao. I think in the second half Wassmuth even had a tackle on Zadrazil that looked like a studs up but it wasn't even given as a yellow ๐

Is it too early to expect a good game in the uwcl semis? Wolfsburg just keeps getting better.
I think it'll be a fantastic game!! Their demolition of Bayern to this extent was certainly unexpected and likely sent out a huge red flag to Barca and the remaining rivals.
Apparently the semi-final is gonna be played at the Camp Nou again? Super exciting stuff ๐คฉ Though I think Barca can neutralise Wob a lot better than any other teams (like Arsenal or Bayern so far) cause they're simply just so much better at hogging possession and not letting their opponents get into a rhythm.
