#my answer for rand dying is the same as my feelings about quentin dying in the magicians#(which happened in the show but not the books)#it sucks to have the mentally ill character commit suicide to save people#if a character feels awful for the entire series#develops ptsd and believes he deserves death#and then dies in misery (to save his 'more worthwhile' and less ptsd-having friends)#it is a pretty crappy ending#and would have guaranteed that i never reread the series#so i vote for 'everyone lives' because 'perrin dies' was not a choice#(apologies to show perrin who is great)#(i speak specifically of book perrin here)#wot book spoilers#a memory of light#wot#wheel of time#wot polls
