There will of course be butches who want to go by more androgynous or masculine (nick)names, but I do not think it should be an expectation put on us neither from ourselves or from those around us that we inherently should be uncomfortable by carrying an obviously woman's name.

I love how tracking my period is also a way I can track my mental and physical health, as everything is connected and these really impact the reproductive system. Usually it is more used so that if your cycle has any sort of irregularity that's a sign something's up, but my default is that something's up so my period cycle is deeply irregular and almost nonexistent. Tracking my period is then a way I can keep tabs on my improvement - any sort of regularity and especially just having some sort of menstruation at all is a sign that something is going better in my life. Especially since I often struggle with being in touch with how I'm doing it is so great to have my period cycle to help me be aware - when am I in a good state when in a bad? what factors could positively or negatively cause a change? A few years back I made a drastic life decision, and it felt like a confirmation that it was the right thing to do when I got an actual proper menstruation not long after (and it was - my stress reduced my physical and mental health improved)!!!! To me this is invaluable!!

Anyways guess who just started breading and could cry tears of joy 😭😭
