Why kill
because i like meat too much to be vegan, but i am still deeply disturbed by the treatment of commercial meat animals that provide the meat we buy at the store. so, instead of cutting out a food source that i truly enjoy, i decided to take it into my own hands. by raising and butchering my own meat animals, i know exactly how they were raised, how they were housed, what they ate, and how they died. i can ensure they have spacious cages/pens, opportunity to perform natural behaviours, are not being overbred, fed a good healthy food, receive proper veterinary care, and die in the most humane, pain and panic-free way possible. it’s not easy, not gonna lie; i don’t enjoy killing them…but the reward of happy, healthy, meat for my family is worth it.

Indoor Rabbit Ramblings
Hi guys! Long time no see!
We're settled in here in Colorado, and while the buns are happy with their outdoor grazing pen, I'm exploring options for an indoor run as well.
There is about a 50 square foot rectangular area in an unfinished utility room that is available to us, so I'm looking for some inspiration.
If you guys could send me your favorite indoor rabbit runs, I'd love to see them! I'm also trying to find a suitable material to serve as a guard for the unfinished walls (sheet plastic? Decorative wall panels?) around the perimeter of the enclosure. Must be easy to clean and I'd prefer it to look nice.
Thanks in advance!!

TARS & CASE are all packed up and ready to hit the road! I think they'll enjoy the Colorado climate more than the Texas one :)
