Just want to say i love your art so much! But this ask is mainly directed towards you if you don't mind, I'm just curious to know what made you want to go to school to be a doctor? You don't really pique me as the type to go for that kind of profession, no offense!

But if this ask isn't something you want to answer or find to be too intrusive then you can ignore it!

In all honesty, I mainly did it because people around me told me that I had the talent to become a doctor someday. I've always been good at subjects associated with the medical field and well, ngl I can't think of any other career I would like to do besides being a doctor. I would like to live a comfortable life, and since I'm the first person in my whole family to actually go to college I hope I can finish my career and support them financially. It can be hard sometimes, but I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end. I wouldn't recommend anyone to study something just for the money though lmao, unless you're as desperate as me. Sometimes not feeling any passion for what you're studying drains the life out of you.

hi. this is not a question per se but more like a comment. it is completely unrelated to everything, I just wanted to say thank you. this may sound completely stupid, but I am a trans man and I suffer from chest dysphoria. I bought a binder and even though it made me feel a lot better, but I realized that my chest was not completely flat. before, I was always like "I need to have a flat chest or I die." I still have some chest volume, that is very minimal, but it is there. days passed and watching your oc (the batshit male one, I love him) not having a complete flat chest despite being a guy made me feel a lot more secure on myself.

I've seen plenty of guys that were assigned male at birth (and even ones assigned female at birth but with complete confidence even without a completely flat chest), both real life people and fictional characters, and they have made me more confident. you've helped with that, so I wanted to say thanks.

also. your art is pretty and your style is unique. don't ever stop what you're doing.

Oh dear,, this is really cute. I understand this issue a lot, I've been dealing with dysphoria too for years, no matter how much I tried I always felt like I would never feel comfortable in my own skin. I don't wanna get too personal, but I still deal with those feelings every day, sometimes I wish I wasn't born like I was. Let me tell you something anon, gender is a fucking excuse to label things for marketing purposes, you can be whoever you want. I know it's hard not to think "I shouldn't have this" or "My body should be like that" ( I deal with those thoughts often too.) just to fit an imaginary list of attributes a gender should have invented by society that doesn't understand your struggles, you feel like a man? then you're one! It's okay if you still don't like some parts about yourself, hell, I hate some of mine too; do anything that makes you feel better, that really makes you feel like you belong there, in your own body. I'm really happy my art helped you. I hope you have a very nice day too, thanks for taking the time to send me this. And remember, you're handsome! you're valid, you're doing your best, and most of all, you're you, the most genuine and beautiful form of you.

Whenever I receive asks like these or people telling me how much they enjoy my art, I giggle and blush like a lovestruck high school girl. I might be a grown-up man, but it never fails to make me feel good. I'm extremely grateful.

do you have any tips on how to start writing a VN I'm really wanting to make a VN but I have no idea where to start/how to start scripting and stuff

I'd say the first step is to think about what you want to do with your story. Don't rush things, after all a visual novel is pretty much carried by the story most of the time, so having a good understanding of what you want to write helps. You don't need to do anything complex in your first attempts, you can just try writing something simple, a story with few characters and a simple premise. For learning how to script you can join the Ren'py discord if you have any doubts, people there are really helpful. Also, there are plenty of tutorials only and even plugins/pre-made scripts to ease the process of writing the code. Trust me, programming a visual novel isn't hard at all, if an 11-year-old (me) could write lines of code, anyone can lol. Also, I'd recommend writing the script before starting to work on the visual aspect, knowing how the story develops and following a coherent narrative is very helpful when you're starting to work on the visuals. Hi! I've seen your other DoL drawings and I really want to see Whitney and/or Robin in your style!!

I tried my best but after a long time I couldn't decide if I like the design or not so I just ended up with this pathetic sketch of Whitney, I'll try drawing Robin (and some other requests too) later.

Some people have been asking me lately if I do commissions. Maybe next month I'll open some slots, I need to do some researching first, I'm not even sure how much my drawings should cost, I don't wanna overprice things accidentally. But I'm happy some of you are so interested in some art, it's very endearing to see.
