s8 i need an episode where buck and tommy are on one of their excursion dates - a hike, perhaps - and some kind of natural disaster occurs, idk, earthquake or rockslide/landslide and they have to spend one of their few days off together in full blown first responder mode, and neither one of them have cell phone service, and they just keep collecting civilians on their way back down the trail

they eventually get to where a bunch of on-duty first responders are and pass their troupe of tagalongs off to get checked out, and they're both only bruised and scratched up so they wave off the paramedics bc they both know they're okay, just tired. they drive back to tommy's house and walk to the kitchen so they can crack open some cold beers and take a minute to decompress. they're standing in the kitchen in silence, dusty and dirty and scraped, and tommy goes, "long day, huh?" and buck nods and says, "yeah, yeah, that was uh...not what i had in mind for our date." and tommy lets out a breathy laugh and looks at buck and then down at himself and says, "guess we should shower and go to bed, huh?" and buck just goes, "yeah, yeah."

and there's a long beat before they both put their bottles down on the countertop and suddenly they're on each other, pulling at each other's clothes and kissing wet and hungry for each other before dropping down behind the kitchen island to the floor and then the scene just fades to black

(meanwhile the rest of the 118 knows that they were going on that trail in particular bc buck wouldn't stop talking about it the whole week prior and it's all over the news how there's been a massive rockslide there and neither buck nor tommy are answering their phones and they spend their whole day off in a scramble trying to find the two of them)

bi buck and the bucktommy relationship are both huge storylines by themselves, so i'm really grateful we got a taste of it this season, even though we had fewer episodes and so much going on. i don't know where they are going to take that relationship, but even if they are not endgame, i really want to keep them together for a while so we can get to know tommy better and then decide if he's a good fit for buck or not. right now a lot of people are jumping to conclusion and the truth is we didn't have enough time to develop them in the best way possible, so chill.
