And the fact is, Luffy was also in the wrong, but Zoro was more worried about pride just because he believed Luffy was in the right without thinking Usopp had just as much legitimacy to what was going on as well. Not to mention when Usopp did apologize, it took a lot of guts, just like when he took his Sniper King mask off to root for Luffy in the final clash with Lucci.

I do like to think Zoro wouldn't have the guts to do that if he wronged the Straw hats and Luffy at some point, even if he was willing to swallow his pride to let Mihawk train him, but this is very different. Considering how Usopp and Sanji had been willing to apologize for their own mistakes.

Plus after this mess, we know Luffy REFUSED to leave Sanji alone when he was sent to Whole Cake Island for the wedding with Pudding, even as Zoro wanted him to forget about it due to their situation at the time (and maybe a little of his own disdain for Sanji even if he does stand up for him when need be), but losing Ace, the loss they suffered on Sabaody before the 2 years skip... Luffy grew a lot in that he isn't gonna lose anyone else, no matter what it takes, even if he won't be able to save EVERYONE like he wants.

also while i’m here i do want to give luffy some grace as well. he was also 17 years old navigating the world for the first time (metaphorically and psychically)

and i’m not going to play the trauma olympics in regards to his upbringing in comparison to usopp’s. luffy has his own traumatic events that he witnessed stay with him day to day and affect he lives his life

instead of talking about what happened between him and usopp in regards to the merry i want to mention how luffy was put under so much pressure afterwards

luffy was confused himself about what was going on. he was being fed words the whole time and gave in. again, luffy was still learning and didn’t understand.

yes what he did initially with the going merry and his decision was uncalled for, could have been avoided and he should have apologized as well but at the same time he was also dealing with inner turmoil

in the end luffy regretted the final decision and scared he wasn’t gonna see his best friend again

A while back, while mulling about my buddy @anicomicgeek and his Deviant Art page, I was seeing him in the works of crossover ideas for My Cast of JLA vs. Godzilla as well as Avengers/Marvel vs. Godzilla, and I thought “Self! Why not do something like that?”, and it hit me.

Destiny meets RWBY. The idea started heavily from DC’s crossovers of RWBY with their universe, thanks to their both being owned by Warner Bros. as well as how there’s stuff like the upcoming Justice League x RWBY movies.

The idea I have had for this if I am to do it as a fanfic would be something leads Team RWBY and Team JNPR to be drawn to the world of Destiny and be “reborn” as Guardians, while working with other Guardians to fight humanity’s enemies _AND_ to try to find a way home as well.

That’s the beauty of it for Damian-- even with all the training he had from the League of Assassins, all the things he’s had to do in the name of his grandfather and his mother, his time with his father has allowed him to open up his heart, to be able to become stronger, to want to be better, even if he has his issues since he’s still a teenager who’s growing up. The first thing that comes to mind is the fact that the scientist who experimented on the Xorda ambassador and caused the apocalypse that wiped out all of humanity outside of Station Square 12,000 years before the start of the series was somehow a direct ancestor of Robotnik with the Kintobor family name

I had this really cool idea really with Zetsu I may wanna explore in my fanfic, and I think you and Blue helped inspired me for something to do with it, Chatte! :)

1. Whoops my bad made it sound like make Spiral zetsu as the final villain, when I meant final opponent for ether the side characters like the K11 (which he kinda was for the most part, though off screen sadly) or for Sakura in terms of solo fights outside of team 7. But yeah it was a missed opportunity. I kinda feel like the final battles should of been: Kakashi vs Black Zetsu (with Obito), Sakura (possibly with Yamto) vs Spiral Zetsu and Naruto and Sasuke vs Madara (aided by Team 7 later).

2. Heck I feel if there were more unique zetsus like Spiral Zetsu it would make alot more sense on why Obito declared open war on the 5 nations since he had some powerful ones to go against the stronger ninja and lead the lesser ones without Kabuto's additional with the Edo Tensei he would receive later.

But she’s never really going to get to grow up and smile and laugh and love because she’ll always be consumed with this feeling of missing you. And now there’s something missing from your family and they can barely look at each other anymore because everything reminds them of you but you’re gone and hurts more than anything. and you think that your mom never cared because she was always busy and yelling at you to finish your homework and clean your room and forgot to say I love you sometimes but really, she loved you more than anything and she doesn’t leave the house anymore, she can’t even get out of bed and she’s getting thinner and thinner because it’s too hard to eat. Your father had to quit his job and he doesn’t sleep anymore, every time he closes his eyes he sees his baby dead, and the image never goes away no matter how much alcohol he drinks. And at school your best friend sees that your seat is empty and she gets this sick feeling in her stomach and that’s when she hears the announcement. You killed yourself. And suddenly she’s screaming and crying in the middle of class and no one even bothers comforting because they’re all  busy sitting there staring at your empty seat with tears dripping down their cheeks and all she wants is for you to hug her and tell her it’s gonna be okay like you always did, but this time, you’re not there to do it, everything is dark now that you’re gone and her grades are slipping, she barely goes to school anymore and she ended up in hospital after taking too many pills because she wanted to see you again. the girls who used to make fun of the way you dressed feel their throats get tight, they don’t talk to each other anymore, they don’t talk to anyone, they’re all in therapy trying so hard not to blame themselves but nothing works. and your teacher who always gave you a hard time stares blankly at the wall, she quits her job a few days later. And then your boyfriend hears the news and he can’t breathe, he still calls you a lot just to hear your voice and he talks to you on facebook but you never message him back, he can’t fall in love again because every girl he meets reminds him of you, he’s never going to get over you, he loved you and he cries himself to sleep every night, hating himself and slicing his skin because he couldn’t save you and he’s never going to hold you in his arms or hear you laugh again. Now everyone who knew you, whether they were a big part of your life or someone you passed in the hallway a few times a week, they carry this aching feeling around inside them because you’re gone, and they miss you, and they don’t know why you left but it must’ve been their fault and they should’ve stopped you and they should’ve told you they loved you more and that feeling is never going to go away. And so you killed yourself

but you killed everyone else around you too.

So backing up to the question you've asked do you know when was this introduced to the series?

That's right in THE LAST movie. Right after the original series ended.

It was made so that Hinata would be his first love. And in this canon movie and Boruto series after she probably was, as they've changed 2 more major aspects of the previous Naruto.

First one being kagebunshin no jutsu.

The regular bunshin to pass the academy required this hand seal. However in the Last Naruto already new the forbidden technique hand seal which he shouldn't have learnt as he haven't stolen the forbidden scroll yet.

Meaning the past of this Naruto was changed and we don't know if he actually stole the scroll much earlier in the series or he learned it from somewhere else.

Another major thing that deviates from the old Naruto series is that this Naruto doesn't understand people love vs object love.

While in the OG Naruto the 2 out 3 major fights was literally about Naruto finding people important to his life so he wouldn't be alone.

It's strange that the Borutoverse decided to disregard this, as Hinata was devoted to Naruto even from a distance and gave her life because of it so OG Naruto did understand her feelings. But it probably is much easier to go "he's a dummy that's why he didn't respond for so long :v" then "he might have not considered or felt the same at that moment"

He longed for love, so it was easy for him to resonate with people who seeked it as well.

This is the reason why canon naruto is a multiverse branching out into different directions. Everything here is canon but not much is consistent.
