GINGER SNAPS — a google docs template by beckysgomez !!

hello ! alright so i’ve been looking into google docs to put my muse list for my indie but couldn’t find one that served my purpose so i decided to make my own which you can find here ! however my beautiful wife ( @euphoriarph ) suggested to include a version with pictures for people that prefer that look which led to this version named after her !

this is a very simple list that was made for muse lists in mind but can also be used for connections list, relationships, really any type of list that you would would like to use for ! mind you this version might look a little funky on mobile but it still works the same just keep that in mind.

you can edit this as much as you’d like but please do not remove credit on the template !

all the image sizing can be found on the doc and to replace them just right click > replace image so the format keeps the same. you’ll probably have to delete some spaces to fit your character’s names. if you find any hiccups and need some help on how to navigate it feel free to send me an ask.

FOR USE : in the source link you will be directed to a doc page with both versions of the list simply click on the link of the one you’d like to use and you’ll be directed to the template. from there just go file > make a copy !!

This document is a multi - muse style about page. It includes various sections for blog information, link navigation, user information, wanted plots, and muse lists.

Muse categories included:  television,  film,  literature,  video games,  comic books and original. There are 5 to 6 muse slots per section and 2 sections per each category making 10 to 12 muse slots for each category. These can easily be changed around as desired to include more or less as needed through the use of copy and paste. Be careful when altering the layout as it can disrupt the rest.

You may edit this layout as much as you like for your own personal use. However editing and redistributing or claiming as your own is strictly prohibited. 

Credit must remain somewhere on this layout when using. You are welcome to change the location, color,  etc. of the credit but it must be easy to see and the link itself must remain in tact. This is not optional.

To use this layout  >  open the google doc  >  go to file  >  select “make a copy”.

All of the image sizes are listed within the doc images themself. To replace an image, simply click on it and select  “replace image”  from the top menu bar. 

This document is considered an easy to medium difficultly level;  some knowledge of tables and borders is needed if you hold a desire to change things around. Otherwise everything is already set up for you. When using, I strongly suggest that you limit your character input to what is shown in the doc in order to keep things from shifting around and possibly messing up the layout style.

Customized graphics for this google doc can be commissioned if desired.

introducing dazzling light, the latest google docs template from tinytowns. dark mode takes inspiration from dating websites, whereas light mode is more desktop - based. dazzling light is a large single - paged document designed to display connections, as requested by anonymous. it could be turned into a multi - muse with some experienced fiddling. to unlock the document's full potential you should probably have some prior knowledge using gdocs, but assistance is always available through ask. the dark mode link can be found in the source code or both can be found here & here. under the read more you will find additional information as well as some further customisation tips ! due to popular demand, here's a three paged version of dark & light .

✶  tutorial

#01.    go  to  file   ->   make a copy,  in order to edit.

#02.    do not utilise the page colour in page layout, it might break the document's custom sizing. instead, you should click on the background and hit replace image !

#03.    to change the character images, double click the design and it should take you to a google drawings window. from there, just hit replace image on most things. if you decide to change any colours remember to also change the border colours to match. the two small images were blurred in photoshop using gaussian blur.

#04.    here are the downloads for the image buttons & the settings cog. to change their colour just click layer > layer style > colour overlay ! settings & buttons

#05.    both description & memory boxes were provided to give the user different options - you can, as the names entail, either write down memories your character has with the displayed one, or just write a summary of their relationship. if you don't want memories for example, just copy - paste over it with the description.
