people say folks with adhd struggle with "delayed rewards" aka long term goals and as such we tend to focus more on short term rewards. what they don't talk about is that at when we Do accomplish long term goals we don't actually feel anything proportionate to the amount of work we did to achieve it. In my head I suffered for a while and then money spontaneously appeared in my bank account.

this is kinda how me and my bf got close, he would call me on his way to work and when he got off, stay on calls when he went to get food, even started keeping me on calls in his pocket when he would go to his moms and i would hear them talk (they speak burmese tho so ive never known whats being said). idk it was always so cute to feel like i was just beside him
