I’m genuinely so grateful that Shelby not only shared her story but was willing to discuss some of the details even though it must’ve been incredibly difficult.
Abuse is inherently absurd, and forms of abuse that just seem like quirks or weird behaviors can be especially dangerous cause it’s so much harder to recognize them. I really hope that Shelby talking about her experience will be able to help people recognize patterns of abuse in their own relationships.
Anyway peace and love and the whole world to Shelby Shubble. I’m glad it sounds like she’s been able to heal and I hope things only get better for her.

Me: Yes, in the summer.
Lady, pauses, then grabs two: I put it in a soup.
Me: Oh nice, what kind are you making?
Lady: You will not fantasize about my soup.
And then she walked away. "You will not fantasize about my soup" will be in my head forever. I love you, little old Italian lady.

Because I've been feeling productive, allow me to properly introduce a headcanon o' mine, one which I had showcased in my fics but now am actually showcasing it!
Long story short, I HC Phil's chat as crows like many others, but with a little twist: void-like birds that lurk in the shadows and can only be understood by Phil and nobody else (unless he wants them to be heard, of course, but that's a wholeass different HC for another day~)
Think they're like Soot Sprites, but birb-shaped!... And pray that you won't have to witness all of them flying at once. They'd probably cover the whole sky.

But honestly, I’m really tired of the way Asian cultures and countries are treated / talked about while Asian people themselves are excluded, and thought it was about time I really let my rage out lol.
