I am so fucking scared. I feel that... you know it's not about death. I'm not so scared of death. I'm so scared of being displaced. I want to go back to my home--and I'm so near, by the way... Gaza is so small. But I can't go there because the Gaza Strip is cut into pieces, and vehicles and tanks are in the borders between these pieces so I just can't go anywhere inside my homeland. My place. And... it's unacceptable. It's unimaginable. You know I have never imagined before that one day someone would just grab me from my... my homeland. My place. And just throw me away and prevent me to come back.
By the way, we don't know if we could go back. If we could go back again. Ever. And I'm so scared that they could displace us from Gaza Strip to the desert. [Bisan's voice breaks, she breaks into tears] We will die in the desert because of hunger. They displaced us to Egypt. To the north of Egypt, to Sanari desert. People just die. We will die.
[Sob] I don't know why do you guys are watching without doing anything to end this. Just in the... just stop it. Just stop it. Stop it in any price, stop it in any cost. Just stop it for anything. Just stop this. It's a nightmare. I can't continue just thinking about the displacement more and more. It's a nightmare. And I can't-- I can't keep it alive while thinking of being displaced more and more.
I just wanna go back to my home.
-- Bisan in a heartbreaking voice memo on Instagram, 2.14.2024

Hi, I’m Kai!
Sorry for not being as active on here as I’d like. I’m currently unemployed and struggling to pay bills, which is terrifying. You can commission me or donate to me on my ko-fi! If you can’t but would still like to help, please share this around! It’d mean a lot to me.
Thanks for reading!

I keep posting this because it's important people see the tricks the US Empire will pull in order to ensure the occupation of Palestine doesn't end.
When Netanyahu is removed and scapegoated for the crimes Israel has committed, his more moderate replacement will go on a media tour in order to repair Israel's image in the West and a diplomatic tour in order to restore diplomatic relations with the countries that have recalled their ambassadors or cut diplomatic ties entirely. The genocide we're witnessing will be treated like a mild mistake that will never happen again (that Palestinians have brought on themselves). More money will be allocated to Zionist groups in the West to ensure that the public doesn't turn on Israel again.
Meanwhile, Palestinians will continue to get imprisoned, tortured and killed, only now without the world paying attention (just like what happened after the 2021 war). It's our duty as people who are pro Palestine to ensure that this fails. We need to make sure they don't sweep the genocide under a rug. We need to make that Western politicians and journalists don't clean the blood off their hands in the same way we've spent 45 days countering Israeli propaganda

Literally all you need to know about this "war" is that one side is a nuclear power with full backing of USA and the other side doesn't have its own government, water or electricity.

Palestinians are not "human shields," they are human beings. They are not obstacles to be bulldozed through. They are not simple statistics or acceptable losses.
They are people. Civilians. There are parents and children, teachers, doctors, bakers, journalists, families.

Went to protest today. Got to yell. Thousands of people turned up. The kids with homemade signs broke me. My friend said he'd thought he'd never see the day our city stood up for Palestine. Didn't see a single counter protestor (except for 5 trucker protesters but they're a permanent fixture here lol). Honestly could not count how many people there were. Could not count how many signs and flags there were. Biggest protest I've ever been to.
Had a difficult conversation with one of my parents about not waiting for every single person in a protest to have signs and opinions that you totally agree with to join the crowd marching against genocide. Parent thought protesters should condemn Hamas and that not enough were condeming them. I asked if parent agreed that Canada should support a ceasefire. Yes. Well then protest for that. Don't let discomfort with being near angry, grieving people be what stops you from standing up for what's right. If you consider yourself a moderate liberal or at the very least a human being who cares about other human beings then you have common ground with the pro-palestine protestors. Asking for Israel to stop bombing hospitals and killing kids, even if you believe Israel isn't so bad, is better than being silent. Have compassion for grieving people. You don't have to agree with everything that comes out of their mouth to beg your governments to save their families from being murdered in their sleep.
Go to protests if you are able. Yelling makes the pain better.
Free Palestine. Stop bombing hospitals. Stop bombing children. Israel is an apartheid state. Stop the Genocide. Stop ethnic cleansing. No Justice no Peace. Every child matters. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
Ceasefire now.
