Howdy!
Just your average gay trans cowboy. (He/Him) I own a small farm with my husband with horses, ducks, chickens, quail, and pigs.
This is a LGBTQ+ safe space.
Most of my animals are neglect cases that need TLC.

Got to shoe 3 horses the other day. Here is just a couple photos. Worked closely with my farrier to make sure I did everything right. It's been a good apprenticeship.
New friend joining the farm. Jasper, a 6/7 year old, thoroughbred. He came from the farm that my husband and I actually got married on.
Unfortunately, the couple is getting a divorce and liquidating the farm. I loved both of these people deeply and honored they trust me with this horse they just recently got from a rescue. He was with an older horse that I think tended to hog most the food because he was chunky. We will get some good clean weight on this guy and get him trained up good.
Went up to the mountains for the first time this year. Took Booner and wow did he kick butt!!! Took all the mud, running water, up hill and down hill like a champ!!! Love this guy. He is still sus about dogs but honestly can't blame the guy some people don't know trail rules with dogs and just think it's OK to have their dog come bouldering over to the horses.
Went and watched the Charoit Races yesterday. It was so windy but it was a good time. Some speedy ponies. It does seem fun to just lead the charoits/horses to the gate wanna know how you get that job.
Started an apprenticeship with my farrier. I will be following him around all of 2024 and also start farrier school in the fall of 2024. Got to learn with this spicey spotted donkey and a sweet old horse named Hank. Thank you, Hank, for being so patient with me as I learned. And thankful to my farrier for taking me under his wing. I'm exhausted!
