the concept of fatphobia isn't "skinny people have never ever been shamed or insecure about their bodies ever" but rather "society literally doesn't want fat people to exist at any cost to the point healthcare systems are willing to let fat people die rather than address any other possible medical issue, in addition to facing insults and disgust at every turn socially". online the fact u can't make a body positive or even neutral post without somebody going "but what about us naturally skinny and petite people" is so fucked man
everytime you bring up the hostility lesbian/bisexual/queer spaces have had to trans women there's a bunch of people who will attempt to play the terminology game and say well that's not what it means to be lgbtq!!! those people are doing it wrong! as though the objection is made at the ontological level rather than the historical. you just want to be good, endlessly unimpeachably good instead of actually engaging with the material conditions that make a community an unwelcoming space for a trans women. and im not even touching how much of even the academic construction of these ideas has historically been transmisogynist.
its 4/20 please take some time to remember everyone that has died / been incarcerated / lost any chance at a normal life for your right to smoke ur fuckin mids.
